Even though you dont have to do it to move on. All you have to do is fail it however many times until the screen that asks you if you want to wuss out and tyou say yeah and you can just hit Welcome to the Jungle and move on.

So maybe I'm stupid...but how do you enter this code? I'm guessing it's a button sequence, but what in the world is YO, RO, GB, etc...

So when they're grouped together, you hit them at the same time?

anyone played knights of cydonia on medium? theres this red note that seems like it should be a PO but you strum instead. it goes Y, R, R. i think its weird and seems out of place cuz right before it its Y PO R, R and i think thats how this one shouldve been. it happens a couple times. kinda like the programmers forgot to make that one a PO

This is one of my biggest gripes with the game. Things that probably should be HO/POs, even if they wouldn't be on an actual guitar, aren't. Wait till you get up to hard/expert, it's much worse there. I have a tough time keeping streaks during a lot of the faster sections because of it.

Speaking of worse, am I the only one who positively sucks at the Who song on expert? I actually really like it, but for some reason I can't keep any kind of streak, I got 2/11 SPs or something like that and 3 starred it on my sightread. It completely and utterly depressed me (this isn't One or anything!). Please give me some solace that I'm not the only one.

Anyway, with a little luck/time I'll beat the game tomorrow and then try TTFAF Can't Wait!

And with that song went my streak of five-star songs on the first try.

Great song, though... I hadn't heard it before playing it in this game.

It seems that the problem with Even Flow popped up in the demo for a few folks. I was going to ask about it at scorehero, since I know there are a bunch of discerning players who have put this through its paces, but I'm not really in the mood to be called a pussy by a bunch of 14 year old fanboys for questioning their game.
Those 14 year olds would have been right. After having it drive me batty, I went through the annoying task of pulling my TV out and rechecking my connections. Apparently in my haste to set up my XBox and get the game going, and working without a lot of visibility, I connected the stupid yellow plug instead of white to the audio connections. After being ashamed of myself for a few, the game sounds awesome now.

nope. Though you do have to face the humiliation of hitting the "wuss out" button.

so lets say the makers find a couple mistakes in the game, can patches fix these type of things?

Which screen do you enter this code?

Neversoft went this route in that notes that would actually be strummed in the song are strummed in-game. It's a double-edged blade. It makes the game more realistic, which is sometimes cool, but also impairs gameplay a little bit because you have to strum in the middle of these super long HOPO sections, which you didn't have to do in GH2.

Options - Cheats - Enter Cheat. Remember that you have to strum each note this time around.

I really like the fact that they included a Dimebag Darrell outfit for Axel. It was the first thing I purchased from the store. Too bad you can't purchase a Dean Razorback.

I've only had a chance to play through the first four tiers on expert so far and "The Seeker" is the only song I did not 5 star on sightread. Like you, I could not keep a streak going and ended up with 3 stars. I played it again thinking I just had a bad run through the first time and figured that I could get it right after knowing the chart a little. I ended up 4 starring it. I thought I 3 starred it when I finished the song and was very surprised to see the 4 stars. I feel like getting 5 stars on the song will be a pain in the ass.

When I mentioned some people were complaining of audio drops, I neglected to mention that someone on Scorehero asked them to check if both L/R audio jacks were properly connected. No one responded to him, so I figured it was a dumb suggestion

The note you're talking about is EXACTLY the reason why this was the only song I got 4 stars on the first time around on medium. It's just a really weird sequence with the one that has double red you have to strum. Even though it messed me up, this is still one of my favourite songs in the game to play, the other being My Name is Jonas.

Yeah, I saw that response too, which offended me, of course. Like I would be stupid enough not to properly connect the audio.

The dropped music does seem to still be a problem for some. I can't imagine everyone experiencing it bought their XBox for this game (and RB) like me, and butchered the hook-up. I'm all good now (minus the Les Paul activating star power if the neck isn't almost completely parallel to the ground), but there still seems to be quite a few QC issues out there that are troubling.

I'm not happy that you can barely see the buttons while in star power. Too much blue/white..

I've been having trouble with that, too. Double the points doesn't help too much if you keep flubbing notes.

The onscreen buttons seem smaller to me which makes it more difficult when star power is activated. And the way the onscreen fret board is, I also have problems being distracted by the background. The grooves never seem to look straight so my eyes wander trying to focus on the notes. I don't like the meter set up as that is very small, too. I'm also distracted by my ass shaking on the screen. I don't know why they felt the need to have so much going on in the background.
