Nope. Not just outside of career mode, but outside of the (insanely irritating) boss battle in the career mode. Same for the Slash and Tom Morello songs.

You'll have to call your store to find out. I read on CAG(I think) that some stores are listed on their website doing a midnight launch that aren't actually doing a midnight release due to a lack of pre-orders. Only way to know for sure is to call.

I just gave up on Lou for a while and have been playing some online games. If any of you get it for the 360 and want to play some on Live (I prefer coop, but do the face offs), just send "Oz Rosenberg" a friend request.

I'd mentioned that in this thread as well...my local Gamestop is mentioned on the website, but they're not doing one.

I'm still going to pick this up (and a 360) tomorrow, but that stuff annoys the bejesus out of me. Limiting songs like this, or forcing co-op to unlock some others, just seems cheap.

Finally got to link my account on guitarhero.com. The page wouldn't even let me log in for a bit so it seems they had a few more bugs to work out. None of my info has updated on the page so I guess they need to fix a few more things.

So my friend calls me a little after midnight asking me what color the guitar is. I told him black. He said the ones he and another friend of mine bought for the 360 were white. I guess the wired 360 ones are white and my moron friends picked those up by mistake. By the time I corrected them and they got back to the store to return them they were all sold out. I almost felt bad for them but they are grownups now and need to pay more attention.

My buddy picked up a 360 copy of the game at Walmart, sadly it came with a wired Xplorer controller.

On the bright side, it was $89.

Saw on scorehero that they're also selling the PS2 version with a red SG. I'd have been pissed.

Picked mine up tonight, and I'm really enjoying it. It's challenging enough (although I'm not that great to begin with) and most of the songs so far have been fun.

Well, picked mine up at midnight and the yellow button is defective on my guitar. It is pretty bad. It will work fine for five minutes, then just not work no matter how hard I press. The place I bought it is sold out so I can't return it yet. My explorers whammy bar is broke, and it wont activate star power. I'm kind of screwed for now. Damn it!

I'm confused, the game is being sold with either a wireless Les Paul or a wired X-Plorer? I'd hope the wired X-Plorer version is cheaper.

My red button wasn't working at first either, but I took the neck off and blew on the contacts and reattached it and it worked fine. Maybe give that a try?

How the hell do you sync this thing? It's not working like the normal 360 controller, and there, of course, aren't any instructions stating how.

Got the Best Buy ad this morning. Apparently all their faceplates only work w/ the Xbox360 & PS3 versions -- but not with the Wii. Must be because of the extra hole.

There are instructions with pictures

1: Hit the small sync button right next to memory slot B
2: hit the sync button on the controller (has a sticker pointing to it, right next to the mic plug in)
3: enjoy!

I pre-ordered a copy last night, so I'll be going to pick that up after lunch. I'm really looking forward to playing it.

I thought all of the XBOX 360 versions were wired, so I didn't inquire about whether the one I put money down on was wired or wireless. I'd prefer a wireless controller like everyone else, but I don't have a problem with having a wired one. It won't constrict my movement at all in my room.

The wired Xplorer version is a Wal Mart exclusive. Trust me, if it is the exact same Xplorer that came with GH2, you don't want it.
