For people hoping that the downloadable content will be cheaper in the future, this probably won't be good news to you:

More Than Two Million Single Songs Accessed Through Xbox LIVE Marketplace(R) since April

It does make you wonder why they haven't released more songs, since the ones they have released have sold so well...

Quick verification as I plan my instrument strategy.....

The GH 3 $100 XBOX 360 package includes a wireless guitar? Or it is like RB where the wireless has to be bought separately?

Appreciate the answer. Thanks!

Wireless guitars for all platforms (unless you buy game-only of course).

Thanks Groucho, I really appreciate it. Just wanted to make sure that is where the extra $10 was going to in the $100 package. Looks like I am going to try and craigslist my wired.

Someone on CAG also posted that GameInformer gave it a 8.75 and 9

I like the way those songs are layed out in-game though

Fuckin' White Zombie! Awesome. I can't wait to play the Killswitch Engage and Fall of Troy songs. Also after listening to that "Cliffs of Dover" song, it sounds like it is going to be extremely hard.

Will there be any difference in the playlists between different consoles?

I agree that co-op exclusives are really dumb, but at the same time, I can see why they do it (as it pretty much requires the purchase of a second guitar by someone). Luckily I've already got extra guitars, so I'll just need to ask a friend to come over (or, I guess, you could play it with someone on Live. I didn't really think about that).

As for the song lists, hell yeah! Kool Thing, Anarchy in the U.K., Holiday In Cambodia, I can't wait to play those.

One thing I just noticed with that list is that they don't say which ones are master tracks and which aren't.

I'm guessing it is only a Co-op exclusive in some sort of Co-op career mode. Hopefully they will let you play those songs during a single player "quick play" mode.

This is a lot different than the custom charts.

The problem with this one in GH3 is that a lot of the notes that you play in GH aren't even played by guitars in the actual song. Some of them are drums/drum machines. There is also a part where the real guitarist uses a whammy bar, but you are required to play dozens of notes insanely fast instead.

There is a point where a GH song just becomes stupid, and this crossed it (and then went miles past the stupid point).

Really? All because they tried to emulate the silly whammy bar noise with a fast hammer-on?

Nah, the parts where you strum the drum lines are far worse.

Just watch the video and decide for yourself

So, for Devil Went Down to Georgia, I'm really going to be a Fiddle Hero?

We used to play that song in a (Hard rock) band I was in and believe me, there was no fiddlin'.

Maybe I am just not seeing/hearing it, but can you point out the time when there are notes for drum lines?

My guess is he's talking about the part around 1 minute in where the double kick drum is going, but there's most definitely a guitar going at that point. I've got the album at home, and for the life of me I can't think of any kind of drum solo line on it. Dragonforce is first and foremost a crazy ass guitar band... which is what makes them perfect for GH3

There are guitars going during that and a few other parts, but I'm not sure if it matches what we're playing. I guess it is irrelevant though since:
1) Even if it is drums, there are a dozen other parts that are just as hard and are really guitars
2) I'm not the target audience, since I don't/can't play most songs on expert anyways
