Yep. I don't own GHII so I need a guitar. The bundle with the wireless gets my money. I don't need more than one guitar, so buying RB with a wired and then picking up the wireless later would be a waste of money. It's almost 2008, wires should not be an issue. I have a dog and two kids under 3 to worry about with cords. They are a hassle.

So Red Octane will get my money and I will just rent RB down the line. Unfortunate because I really like the RB guitar.

Wires or no wires, I can't wait to play the drums on Rock Band. That rules out GH3.

Too bad they don't have a bundle with the wireless guitar for $220 for the 360.

Yep, I'd probably get it for sure. As it is, I won't buy the bundle. I'll just get the drums and game, use my GH2 guitar for the time being, and if I want a wireless guitar at some point I'll see if the Rock Band one is worth it.

I switched out my preorder some time ago knowing this would happen. I am getting the GHIII bundle with the wireless guitar and all the separate Rock Band pieces so that way I'll have two wireless guitars for Rock Band and then I will only need to plug in the mic and the drums.

I'm getting GHIII for the game plus wireless guitar, then the bundle with all the instruments for Rock Band, and I'm going to trade in the wired guitar towards a wireless.

That video was lame. I sincerely hope no one involved with the actual making of the game made that thing, because it would be a complete and utter waste of time.

I thought it was pretty neat. A also thought the GH2 360 commercial with the meteor turning into the guitar pick was cool as well. It doesn't sway my purchase either way. Rock Band has been an insta-purchase day one since I first heard about it.

So the game is actually a new version of the A-Team?

Can't wait to race those vehicles on those tracks and do all those jumps...

Heck, I'd settle for Dressed To Kill or even Love Gun as DLC, but Kiss Alive would just be one of the coolest additions they could possibly make. I mean, shit, if we're getting 18 tracks of the Grateful Dead, we could at least get one of the best live albums of all time.

KISS Alive is my all time favorite album, period. I'd never play anything else if they put that as DLC, lol. I'm excited to see Detroit added to the set list, but I think the verse parts are pretty drab. I think I'd rather see God of Thunder, Cold Gin, or even Hotter than Hell. None-the-less, WOO-HOO!!

Quick question, I don't quite understand the 10 frets.

If you can use a GH controller on this, won't you be punished or miss something since you are 5 frets short?

The five higher frets (the ones near the base) just duplicate the same five frets. Therefore, you can pull off cooler stuff like two-hand tapping easier and whatnot.

I think I read that the other buttons are supposed to be for the solos. There shouldn't be any reason you can't use the normal buttons for the solos instead.
