I just saw this over at CAG and it worked for me:

Go to www.Live.com and log out.

Then go back to the Rewards page and click "Sign In". When it takes you to the sign in screen, click the button on the left. I forgot what it said, but I think it was "Register".

That should do it.

Logging out on Live.com is the key.

Cool. Thanks.

Nice, looks like I made it in time as well. Time to go to sleep! :)

Thanks! It worked for me too, but its probably too late for me to get in on the "big" prizes. I'll be able to get an easy 1000 tonight, but that next 500 will be tough. I was planning on using a free coupon to rent MLB2k6, but I'm too lazy to head to blockbuster this late.

DVDChris 02-13-07 12:21 AM

Yeah, thanks to Brak over at cheap ass gamer for figuring that out. Unfortunately for me I've already done all those quick points games except for MLB 2K6. I'll try that out tomorrow.

Shagrath 02-13-07 02:00 AM

I'm signed up for the Rewards program, but still can't get into the Old Spice thing to actually enter that. I signed out of live.com, and then went back to the rewards site to sign back in, and it just sits at a blank screen with the title "Continue" for forever. Lame.

dcprules 02-13-07 03:08 AM

Yeah, I can't get it to load either. After I enter my email and password, it just sits on Continue forever. I've tried three browsers with firewall and pop up on and than off and still nothing.

I just hit 10,020 points earlier this afternoon, too.

A-aron 02-13-07 07:53 AM

argh! I just noticed that I rented NBA 2k7 and not 2k6 .. Back to BBV today for me.

Hey guys, well I am fully done now with entering the challenge so i decided I would help everyone out.

First, go to this link here . Enter your credentials. This will get you registered and ready to enter the Red Spice challenge.

DO NOT CLICK "Take me back to my rewards center"

While still on the confirmation of registration page, directly type "xbox.com/rewards" into the URL box without quotes.

What this will do is put you back at the homepage, but you will be signed in.

From here, go to challenges and rewards. Click the "Red Spice Challenge " Box.

You will see a link that says "Enter challenge". Right click the link and select "Open in a new window" . This should get it to work. From here, confirm that you want in by checking the box. let the button load, click it, and it should take you back to the challenge page.

To confirm that it worked, now instead of the 'Enter challenge' link being clickable, the "I'm finished" link should be clickable.

If it is, you are all set up and ready to get 1,500 gamerpoints!!

Good luck!!
I got this off the Xbox forums. Thanks to X seanZ X for this method. It worked for me on the first go. Now to go rent some old sports games I haven't played yet.

Flay 02-13-07 08:39 AM

Seriously, this whole rewards program is a giant clusterfuck at the moment. I still can't log in.

By the way, Mygamercard launched Rewardspy: http://www.mygamercard.net/rewardspy.php

It tracks the number of people that have completed the challenge. 36 people at the moment.

Nevermind I'm too late anyway. Oh well...

I registered this morning and the site says registration is open. I don't think you are too late.

Sorry about that. I didn't realize the link didn't copy over in the quote (and why would it). Anyways, I threw that in there now. I don't think it's too late to sign up, as I just did it about an hour ago.

corbin dallas 02-13-07 08:54 AM

This whole process is horse sh*t. Why wouldn't you automatically be registered if you're a Gold member? I've been trying to get on this damn thing since 7 pm CDT last night. Iwould have thought at 6 am this morning it would at least have been possible to register easily if nothing else. I don't even care about the prizes cause my gamerscore is weak right now anyway...

Because some people like me are gold members and want nothing to do with this game/promotion/challenge. Im sure having pepole who arent interested being registered is something they want to avoid.

corbin dallas 02-13-07 09:10 AM

Good point. Maybe thay could have gove members an opt in thing or something...

corbin dallas 02-13-07 09:10 AM

oops ,double post

Hmm.. is that in the order of completion? #5? Sweet.

pinata242 02-13-07 09:50 AM

Currently a 517,193-way tie for 3,247th place!

corbin dallas 02-13-07 10:03 AM

Uhh...somehow I seem to be registered??? How is that possible? I never got through to the website to register.

Were you trying though? Mine did the same thing. I spent 2 hours trying to get registered and twice I got to the end and the page gave me a big error message . When I finally got through it said I had already registered. Who knows how long I had already been registered.

Schloob1 02-13-07 10:33 AM

Unless there is a sudden explosion during the day I should hopefully be alright to get my remaining 765 for the all the level 3 prizes when I get home tonight. We'll see :)

Edison 02-13-07 10:39 AM

I thought I finally got through the registration last night, but do you also have to sign up for the old-spice challenge? I put in 2 1/2 hours on Madden 06 and got 590 of the points but the link that flay posted shows I'm at +0 or does it only count +1,500 points at once?

This link http://xboxrewards.msgamestudios.com...spx?tag=edison shows I'm signed up for 0 challenges. This contest is really starting to tick me off. :(

edit: okay I got through the 'join challenge' link on the Old-spice contest, now it's showing I'm signed up for 1 challenge. Will those 590 points I got last night when I registered count or am I starting now?
