Re: "Ghostbusters"
I loved playing through the Wii version coop and picked it up cheap on 360, but couldn't get very far before I stopped. As a single player game it just isn't as much fun as playing it coop on the Wii.

The 360 Multiplayer patch is live and TR has given us a nice achievement guide: http://www.terminalreality.com/ghost...vements-guide/
Can't wait to get back into it and get those final 110gs for the full 1000!

I kinda miss playing this game. It had its "issues", but it was still fun grabbing ghosts and trapping them. Even multiplayer co-op was fun.

Re: "Ghostbusters"
Did anyone play this on "professional"? I'm getting my ass handed too me. I've been stuck on one "boss" since January 2011.
This game takes a huge shit on players when playing Pro.

I played the first few levels on Wii and loved the humor yet found the play control tricky enough for me to put it down and over time just never pick it up again.
Now that we have a PS3, do you think I would find it more enjoyable? What would be a good price point for a used copy, say $10 or so?

It's a great game on Normal.
I already played through it, but wanted to play on "Pro". But as my post indicated, I'm not having fun because I'm stuck on one boss who's particularly difficult on "pro".
Assuming the PS3 and XBOX(mine) versions were similar I'd say $10 is a great price and you should pick it up.
Just don't play on "pro"....

I beat it on pro, and yes it was a pain in the ass, but I did it.
Let me guess the boss you're stuck on? Azetlor, in the Library?
Actually, that was unquestionably the hardest boss in the game. I breezed through the last few levels once I figured out how to beat him.
The biggest problem with playing the game on pro is that the AI characters are useless, but you still have to run around reviving them over and over, because if you don't, there will be no one to revive you if you do go down.

Re: "Ghostbusters"
For Azetlor, I've got no clue how many tries it took me, but it was a lot. I had to master the art of standing right in front of the portal so I could zap him and then turn around and escape before he got too close, which wasn't so easy for me. And sometimes I would get halfway thru the portal and something would hit me, and I would get turned around and not know which way I was facing, which sucked. Also I had to strategically run out and revive Ray and Egon when I had room to do it. Even though they were worthless as far as fighting goes, they served 2 purposes 1. To revive me if I happened to die close enough to them and 2. To give Azetlor someone else to focus on, thereby buying me more time to zap him. Honestly though, I absolutely hated that battle.

As long as they don’t do something stupid like charging full price for this, then I’m on board. I remember liking the game well enough when it came out, and I wouldn’t mind playing a shiner prettier version.

Fuck that looked good. Can’t believe I never continued with it. Any idea of release date? Prerelease yet?

Re: "Ghostbusters"
Wait, I read a story where it said all the cast reprised there voice acting roles, including Harold Ramis who’s been dead for 5 years. Did it just mean from previous game and no new voice work added?

Re: "Ghostbusters"
That’s why I asked the question. I thought maybe this was done some years ago, 5 now, and maybe stalled and then given go and thus they added extra pieces. That’s all I was wondering. I basically said probably just meant original script and voices. Christ. I may ask sometimes (most times) idiotic questions (to you guys), but I’m really not the idiot I play on tv. I have a Masters + and retain things pretty well. But, yes when it comes to games especially, I just play them and like what I like, I don’t know what kind they are exactly. Mostly FPS, but interested in others and don’t know terms and stuff like that is all...

I'll definitely be picking up the Switch release. Nice surprise that it's getting re-released.
