I will admit that it's probably the least fun because it's the only one that you can't actually button mash and get moves to come out. You really have to give it time. VF4 really grew on me after me and a friend put countless hours into it.

Virtua Fighter 5 coming to XBox 360 is the best news I've heard in the past few months! It was the only game I would have bought a PS3 for but now I can save that $600 for more XBox 360 games!

Also, seeing as how every good fighting game that's worth anything comes from Japan, well, that's what.

And my point about its popularity is that popularity =/= quality.

No, chances are the timing is incorrect, and usually "popularity" comes as a result of quality.
Listen, I understand you don't like the game and that's fine. Just don't say that it's the worst fighter out, or that it's "bad design". The series is widely regarded as one of, if not the best fighters out. There are plenty of great games that come out here in the US that aren't popular. That does not make them bad games. Just shows you that people are content dialing in fatalities.

That and I believe they released it as an add on to keep costs down on the 360 itself and at this point I'm not sure integrating it buys them much as they can't really switch over games to HD DVD media for the 360 as there's already a big install base who would not be able to play the games that started coming out on HD DVD.
I realize that an HD DVD drive would play DVD media based games fine, so they could make it integrated without switching over games to HD DVD media, just don't think it would gain MS much to integrate it at this point...

Told ya - Virtua Fighter 5 on Xbox 360
But you never listen. Sigh. If today's announcement by Sega that VF5 will come to 360 in the summer of 2007 doesn't convince you, nothing will. It's yet another shocker to the gaming public, but one that makes financial sense. With VF5 looming large with its early February release, one must wonder how financially sound that would be to release it on a consoile with a relatively small installed base. While Virtua Fighter has the power to sell systems in Japan, where the franchise is huge, to ignore the much larger installed base Microsoft has cultivated over the last year with its 360 would be grand folly. Now everyone wins.
While the PS3 gets the small window of exclusivity, I know a lot of people who were on the fence about buying on just for this game (me included, I can't be stopped!) now have one less reason to wait in line for the console, knowing that not only will the game come to 360, but that the Virtua High Grade arcade-style sticks with wired USB cords will work with the Xbox. Now that this one's out of the way, what other seemingly PS3-exclusive mega-monster-title will find its way to Microsoft's resilient box? I'll let you figure that one out. But to all the people who confidently stated that "No way VF5 goes to 360," guess what? You get to take two steps back and eat a big "told you so."

Microsoft Extends Xbox 360 Warranty to One Year
Hmmmmmm..... I wonder how this will change the monthly Warranty debate.

Nice move by MS. I was happy with my 360 purchase, but this makes me even happier.
