They are releasing a special DS for it like they did for FF3.

I ended up getting a copy of WarioWare: Touched! for Valentine's Day, which is right up there with Clubhouse Games as one of the most addictive DS games I own. The microgames are so simple, yet so much fun. Also, the game is just perfect for quick spurts like waiting in line, or just killing a few minutes in the mall food court.

On another note, my DS Lite just got a hinge crack on it. I take immaculate care of my DS and my games, so I know that if it can happen to me it can certainly happen to anybody. I've had the thing since it came out last June and nothing has happened to it since then, but for some reason last night the hinge just cracked for some reason.

Went by EB to see if the B2G2F sale on used DVDs was being done in SA (it wasn't) and noticed some mark downs on GBA titles. Summon Night 2 and Super Robot Taisen: OG 2 are now $19.99 and most EBs are only carrying one copy of each. I picked them up along with Scurge: Hive for GBA for $14.99.

This is a known issue. Your Lite is still under warranty... they'll send you a UPS return label and then once they receive it ship you out a refurb.

I'm super anal with my stuff and I got one. It is definitely a defective part and not happening because of the user. I was pissed at first, but this was about 5 months ago and it is fine. I didn't mess with returning it.

Not to mention no matter how well you take care of it, it will more than likely happen with the new one as well. I don't think Nintendo has taken any steps to rectify the problem. At least I haven't read anything about it since this has been happening.

i haven't had a problem with either one of my DS Lites. Maybe its because I picked up both right when they came out, or I just got lucky

I got my Lite right away and it cracked the hinge a month or two after I bought it. However, the hinge has never gotten worse so I have never bothered to fix it.

Got my shipment from Nintendo. I made about a dozen of the GBA inserts yesterday. They look pretty good (except when my printer smears the black ink, POS HP) but I did notice that the instruction booklets don't fit right. Might be able to cut out some plastic and fix that though.

BTW, Goldberg74. Just email me a time and I will hook you up with your cases. I'm off work after 5pm.

Hell yes! DS is getting a version of Tetris Attack. Only announced in Japan thus far.

Very different backgrounds etc. from past incarnations of the game, looks pretty cool.

Finally picked up and started playing Dragon Quest Heroes: Rocket Slime.

I wasn't feeling it for the first couple of hours. But now that it's quit with the constant dialog and is just letting me explore and find slimes I'm loving it. Played it until 2 am last night, found all the slimes in the 1st to areas.

Then Tank battles are pretty fun as well.

How does this game time in with the rest of the Dragon Warrior/Quest games? Dragon Warrior I was probably my favorite RPG of all time. Dragon Force is up there too.

It isn't an RPG. It's an action/adventure game. You run around collecting the captured members of your town and various items. You can use alchemy to produce new items. These items are used for ammo in massive tank-to-tank battles that has a little strategy and a whole lot of frantic running around.

It's better than I make it sound, but it can't really be compared to the other DQ games, imo.

Rocket Slime's TRUE strength is in multi-player, in my opinion. Two on Two tank battles = HOT.

I would LOVE to try Rocket Slime in multi-player, but, in order to do that, I would have to buy another copy and give it to my 8 year old son and then realize that I would always stomp his ass because he's still learning these things. I REALLY wish this was wifi for tank battles. That would be fantastic.

I agree, WiFi would have been nice as I'll never get a chance to try out the multiplayer either.

I just got Rocket Slime for V's Day and I am about 9 hours into it. I really like this game. Have any of you guys tried the single card multiplayer?
