Just sold one for $185. Shipping it out tomorrow. Made $55 off it!

Edit to add: Woke up this morning and found that the other sold over night for $185 (I had them at a fixed price). That was a quick $110!

Has anyone noticed a lack of sensitivity on their DS Lite. I started using another stylus, a pen stylus that seemed a little sharper, and sometimes I swear I will hit that button perfectly on EBA, and it just will not register. Even after going back to the DS stylus the same things happen, and a lot of times in the same spots. Could I have damaged my DS? Should I contact Nintendo.

Of course I could just be missing, but it doesn't feel like it.

Spoiler:
You just have to time it right. Call your partner to help you push at exactly the right time.

Try re-calibrating your touch screen. It is one of the options in the system menu. I had to do that a little while ago, because all my touches were registering a little to the right of where I really was touching.

Is it very easy to play if you don't know any Japanese?

Well, the game itself is a fighter, very similar to Smash Bros., so in that aspect it is easy, but there are a lot of menus and very specific mission objections in the adventure mode.. but there's an EXCELLENT guide on GameFAQs so you can see which the objectives are. Other than that.. it's pretty simple.

Woo-hoo I finally beat Elite Beat Agents on the 4-star setting. It's funny because I remember 3-stars being so hard, but after beating level 4 I went back to get higher scores and levels, and it seems rather slow. What a great game. It kind of makes me want to import the original since it has different tracks.

In Canada, December 26th is Boxing Day which is a similar day to your Black Friday in the US. Most of the stores will open at 6:00 AM in the morning and I have a list of DS and Game Boy Advance games that I'm willing to purchase if the price is right:
- Clubhouse Games
- Final Fantasy III
- Final Fantasy V
- Super Robot Taisen Original Generation
- Super Robot Taisen Original Generation 2
- Elite Beat Agent

I noticed there is a Nintendo DS WiFi list .... but Clubhouse Games is not one of the supported games. Is there a thread for that?

I played Clubhouse games online and noticed there weren't a lot of "worldwide" players. I had to wait a while before people played me. Is this normal??

Wow, that is a great list of games. I have all of those except for SRT 2, but I will get that one eventually. I'm playing the first one now and really enjoying it.

Is Contact a worthwhile purchase? I seen it listed for a decent price for Boxing Day and was wondering about purchasing it.

Anybody playing Yoshis Island DS? The game seems to have a very noticable difficulty spike towards the end of World 3 and is definitely harder in World 4. Holy geez. The first two worlds were great fun, though the gap between screens is a bit annoying (the designers even hid items in that gap a few times). And for some reason, I thought the original Yoshis Island had 6 worlds (this has 5).

Yeah, it gets very cheap and hard in world 4 and 5. I don't mind a hard platformer, but a lot of the difficulty here is from the dead zone betweens screens, not being able to scroll the screen downward and having to make blind jumps etc.

The game's a pretty big let down. After playing the first world I rated it around a 9.0, now being halfway through world 5 I'd drop it to a 6.5 or so.

I just started playing through Super Mario 64 DS again. I had forgotten what an amazing 3D platformer this game is, certainly one of the best platformers of the past 10 years.

I still wish Nintendo would also port the two N64 Zelda games to the DS, but with the Virtual Console now on the Wii I doubt that will ever happen.

Don't underestimate Nintendo's ability to make people buy the same game over and over again.

Contact is a very traditionally japanese RPG wrapped in a modern US package. If you liked Earthbound for the SNES then you'll love this game. But if you HATE archaic RPGs with strange storylines then run away.

Completed Yoshi's Island DS after some pain. Yes... there is a large gap in difficulty that seems to come out of nowhere.

Also completed kirby (very short Sunday afternoon game) and Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin. If you think Yoshi was tough... try the last boss on Castlevania.

By that point, I had so many potions and food items, that I could heal my self dozens of times. I thought it made the last battle fairly easy.

Thank you. I may give it a try.
