Amazon has them in stock, if you do the free shipping though it says Expected Ship Date: Jan 29th, but normally it'll ship about 2 or 3 days after you placed the order.

That's a big YMMV.

I order from Amazon a good bit (have their CC so get $25 reward certificates, $10 certificates for Keynote evaluations etc.) and always use free shipping when it's an option.

Sometimes it ships in 2-3 days, sometimes it gets held 1 or 2 weeks before shipping even though it's in stock. The latter became more prevalent when they started Amazon Prime.

It's obvious after watching the second one that he is satirizing both sides of the fanboy arguments. Pretty funny stuff IMO.

I actually like my PSP more than my DS, but its not because of UMD games

I lost my DS with five games (1 GBA, 2 DS and 2 DS imports).

I can't find a single store that has them in stock to even replace it. What.. the.. hell..?

I finally finished Castlevania: PoR last night for the good ending. Was at level 41 and took about 8 1/2 hours. Still have a ton of the side quests for Wind to do, but kind of doubt I'll bother. Map is at around 850%.

I want to check out some of the other modes though, need to look up how to unlock the sisters mode and richter/maria mode and where the extra "dungeon" is in the castle.

Ok I'm annoyed.

Seems that all you have to do is get the true ending to unlock Sister and Richter modes.

I did that as I beat Richter and used the vampire killer to defeat Dracula (twice just to be sure!) and I still don't see those modes anywhere.

What gives?

Edit Nevermind, figured it out. You just have to select "New Game" and then you can choose.

Wish I'd figured that out again before beating the game a second time as stocking up for the battle wiped out my money and I used all the potions and a lot of the food again since the last battle is so damn hard.

i didn't need to "cheat" on that boss at all. I had the "armor of ages" so each hit only took 1/10 of my total energy, or about 56 points of damage per hit


if you kill 1000 old axe armors, you can select that as well

I've seen plenty of DSs, (even pink ones) at stores (such as Target/BestBut/ToysRUs/Frys) near where I work, which is a more industrial area. The same stores around where I live (which is more of a residential area) don't seem to have any on hand - which is weird, because my work is only a 20 minute drive from my house.

i have neither seen nor found online any DS flavor since 2 weeks before christmas in the metro STL area.

i found it at, of all places, kmart. this kmart has an unusually large assortment of DS games (but no DS lites).

Thankfully, I still have two GBAs and Final Fantasy VI comes out soon, so I'm in no immediate hurry.

Yeah, I didn't find that armor and I have not patience for learning boss patterns etc.

So I just hack away at them, dodge occasionally and heal as often as necessary.

I'm a huge castlevania fan, so I tend to do that with all the games. Castlevania 1 REALLY requires you to learn those patterns, if you want to master that game
