I'll look. Did KillzoneLiberation ever put out that online multiplayer update that I had heard was coming?

Still having no luck finding either Loco Roco or the MGS Digital Comic. Guess online is my only option for those two.
I did find a Toy 'R Us that still had the PSP Car Charger and Battery Charger in stock for $9.99 each. They put those on clearance a few months ago, but still had a few left today so I guess they are not big sellers at any price.
BTW, not seeing many of the Daxter bundles in stores so either Sony shipped very few of them or they are selling.

I saw Loco Roco today at my local WalMart for $20.00 so it may be worth checking in your area if you haven't already. They also has Killzone Liberation for $20.00 which seemed like a decent deal but I could be wrong.

If anyone has a phat PSP and wants a kick-ass sound system for it, the Nodus is being cleared out at BB. It was $199.99 and now is $38 or $39. It won't work with the slim.

I've played about 15 hours of Jeanne D'arc and have to chime in a bit. I am a huge fan of Strategy RPGs. Loved FF Tactics, Fire Emblem, Shining Force, Disgaea and so on.
Jeanne has a cool storyline, nice graphics and fairly interesting characters, but it also has some broke ass gameplay. Maybe one of the most frustrating RPGs I have played in a long time.
One thing I have always liked about SRPGs is the fact following through the main storyline and possibly hitting the sidequests usually gives you all the experience you need. Some like Disgaea will give you incentive to go on some of these sidequest type things for rewards and this also helps level up all your characters.
This is the first SRPG I have played that requires straight up level grinding. Boring ass 80s style level grinding. Not a side mission or side path or alternate cave. Just flat out return to the same level over and over to level grind. The enemies don't get harder on a steady curve you keep up with like most SRPGs. You will literally have a battle you slaughter the enemy in followed by a level you get slaughtered in.
I have played 15 hours (on the game clock, not counting wasting a couple of extra hours repeating levels) and probably 1/3 of that was spent level grinding. The bad part is sometimes the enemies you level grind on are very weak so it takes longer to get ready for the guys up next when you are trying to boost 5-6 guys 4-5 levels.
I keep playing because the storyline is interesting, but Level 5 needs to go back to the drawing board on SRPG design. I won't even get in to the bullshit enemy reinforcements they drop in just when you think you have a tough level under control or the bullshit escort mission where the guy you are escorting keeps running to the danger.
I can only hope the portable version of Disgaea is a big step up from this one.

Did you set the PSP output to 480p? Either games or movies will only work in that mode. I don't remember which though.

Got a new, slim PSP yesterday. I find it weird how movies output larger to the TV than actual games do. I'm sure they'll have a firmware update in the future.
Either way, I'm extremely happy with my purchase

I am very happy with my purchase. I have been playing a lot of Tekken. I am not very good at all and resort to button mashing within a matter of seconds. I am a little worried I might break some of the buttons as I really get into the game.
I also have a question for anyone with the composite video out cables: I have been able to encode videos for the PSP, but they seem to have to be in a 1.33ish aspect ratio (do not remember the exact dimensions) for the PSP to recognize the file. The PSP will stretch the normally widescreen image to display properly on the PSP screen. My question is this: when you use the composite out to a SD TV, does the image show up in 1.33 or the proper widescreen aspect ratio w/ black bars? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Edit: I figured out my problem. Apparently, I can not do algebra.

I was thinking about getting Marvel Ultimate Alliance for my upcoming PSP, but what about Justice League Heroes and X-Men Legends 2? Can someone point out the pros and cons of Alliance vs. Legends? And is Justice League Heroes really that bad?
EDIT: Checked out some reviews for Justice League Heroes and apparently it's actually pretty good. I remember a pretty unflattering Electric Playground review of the game, though. I will probably end up getting it, if anything, as a companion piece for Marvel Ultimate Alliance.

I have MUA and X-Men Legends 2 both for the PSP. Basically, they're really the same game except that MUA has other non-xmen characters. They both play fine, as a dungeon crawling brawler. They're both fun games and I played through both games, which I usually don't do. MUA does have a few improvements such as not requiring item use for health replenishment; that was a big pain in x-Men Legends. MUA also uploads your game stats online automatically -- it certainly isn't necessary, but it IS kinda cool to monitor your progress online (plus watching community stats like most popular character, which to no one's surprise is the very unbalanced Wolverine). They're both good games and if you aren't going to pick up MUA for a next-gen system, certainly get if for the PSP.
Never tried the DC game, so I can't help you there.

Picked up Killzone at Walmart after I saw it was 20 bucks... apparently not a universal Price Drop, but it should be coming soon, I guess.
Also picked up Naruto and Brave Story. Naruto I haven't been able to get into, maybe because I stink at fighting games... but it got great reviews and I like the series. Brave Story actually drew me away from Jeanne d'Arc for a bit, though it's a rather by-the-numbers RPG... it also explains everything in detail, so it'd be a good RPG for RPG novices, I guess. I've never seen the movie or read the book, so I didn't get all of the connections to them.

I personally like Untold Legends 1 and 2 more, unless you really have a thing for the comic book characters.

Good news from TGS for those that want to buy the PS1 games and don't have a PS3. They will soon have PC support so you can buy your games and load them to your PSP with your PC. No PS3 required.
Soon they will also expand remote play so you can turn your PS3 on and off remotely.
Nothing else major. PSP as a controller and so on. Nothing I'm interested in.
