At least the bundle lets you pick your 4 games and 2000 Wii Points. Plus, Zelda is an option.
Is it saying it comes with a 2nd set of Wiimote & nunchuck? It sure looks like it the way it is listed.
The console, 4 games, a 2nd controller, and 2000 Wii points?
$249.24 + $49.82x4 + $39.82 + $19.82 + $24.82 = $533.06, not $533.56...
Wal-Mart and your 50-cent bundle surcharge.

Should I be more excited for this launch? Normally I have *much* more energy for something this exciting.
It's probably still the sting of losing Metroid and Dragon Quest..

Of course I'm sure I'll be pumped when I get it.

When is the Walmart thing expected to start working? It'd be nice to get one that early and avoid the crowds, but I'm a bit leary of buying it before seeing any actual reviews of the games and the system itself. I'm sure I'll love Zelda, but the others it's kind of a blind buy this early. Might just wait until early December and pick one up.

Isn't $533 a rip off?
It doesn't look like it comes with any EXTRA controllers.
So, we are talking $250 + $50 + $50 + 50 + 50 + $20 = $470
Why are they charging so much for a Wii, 4 games and a Wii points card?

In my case, I think it's the lack of any real "must have" titles at launch that I'm interested in. Only Zelda looks good to me, but it's not something I'm dying to play by any means.
And this is being released right as the build up for the end of the semester starts. I've got several tests to take, projects to turn in, and presentations to make right around that time, so I know that I'll not be able to devote much time to any games until around mid-December.
At this point, I'm more excited just to buy a new toy than I am to actually play with it.

Currently, my biggest anticipation lies in bowling with my 6 year-old
Since Clubhouse Games, we've bowled a few times and I've shown her the Wii Experience videos and she's excited. However, I could get a lot of frames at the local alley for $250... But, I know I'll get a Wii eventually, might as well get it now and save the shoe rental fees.

Look at the photo and description again. The top three photos appear to be extras that are included.
And the description lists everything seperately as if you were to purchase them that way. If you click on the system it tells you what is included, the wiimote/nunchuck are listed seperately as well as the wii points. Not to mention all these items seperately add up to the exact amount it would cost buying them individually. $533 would be an odd price point to choose if you are just wanting to milk the consumer out of an extra dollar amount.

Nintendo Wii Console
Nintendo's Wii console, featuring a remarkable wireless controller experience, invites players into game worlds and activities like never before.
Nintendo Wii Remote Controller
To make gaming as accessible to people of all ages and all abilities, Nintendo wanted to create a controller that was as inviting as it was sophisticated. The outcome is the Wii Remote.
Nintendo Wii Nunchuk Controller
Contoured to perfectly fit a player's hand, the Nunchuk builds on the simplicity of the Wii Remote and goes an extra step to meet the needs of gamers.
Nintendo Wii Points Card
Downloading extra features and content, including the greatest games from the NES, Super NES, N64, Sega Genesis and NEC TurboGrafx video game consoles, will be as easy as entering a Wii Points Card code at a Wii onscreen menu.

I see what you mean now. They should have phrased it better.

It says in stock now, but when I add it to the cart (with any combination of 4 games), it says there's an error. Booo!
EDIT: Out of stock now. I checked it once, then no more than 5 minutes later and it was out of stock, so it didn't take long.

After comparing what the Japanese are getting I'm pissed. It is also obvious some titles will be more expensive. However, I would gladly pay 900 points for an English port of Fire Emblem on the SNES. This is such a great opportunity for Nintendo to bring Fire Emblem and things like Super Mario Picross to the US. That is stuff I will pay big money for.
Nintendo really fucking pisses me off with their treatment of the US market. We carried the GameCube all by ourselves and get no respect. Yeah, we get the Wii first, but where the hell is Wii Play, were is the Opera Browser for the DS, hey how about that DS Lite Rumble cart or how about some decent VC titles. Well at least I get to pay $50 for that awful Wii Sports game I don't want. NOA is full of idiots.

No.
Super Mario Bros. stems from the old game, which failed, in which they were represented as a super hero duo. The name just stuck after that, even if the game didn't go on to much success.
