I know the 360 version (not sure others) supposedly have issues with players NOT having fatigue. There is a patch, just curious when it will be there. I will be getting Madden 07 later....wife is buying it for me as we speak Belated B-day present....yeah.

What about those of us who don't have xbox live! With all these patches they're promising, they should provide disks for those of us who don't have/want xbox live.

OXM discs can take care of this problem. Or, like with the BG patches, a disc can be burned from the PC.

I haven't had any success burning patch CD's from my PC. My 360 always gives me an "unreadable disc" error.

What's an OXM disc?

All these 360 problems requiring patches are starting to worry me considering I have no way to hook up my 360 to online at the moment.

Thanks. I had no idea either.

So when the Madden 360 patch comes out to fix the fatigue problem, I just go get a disk from the Official Xbox Magazine?

Burning a disc from the PC would be faster and my first choice in your situation but yes the OXM disc should have the updates as well. The magazine comes out once a month.

No, I'm pretty sure it's all week. I used the ad and price-matched at Wal-Mart early this morning.

Anyone have a list of all the unlockable Hall of Famers in the game? I'd assume the big names are there (Montana, Aikman, Rice, etc.) but anyone have a full list?

Kinda weird to see none of the big 80's/90's QBs on there. No Elway, Montana, Aikman, Young, Marino, or even Kelly. I guess the more recent stars asked for too much which is why this is so 50's-70's focused.

BE AWARE....apparently these HOF players will show up in your franchise if you use the default rosters. But it's an easy fix supposedly. I got the game yesterday, did not play yet though.

quick question, my brother got madden for the 360 but hates it, he does not like the new play calling menu. Does the regular xbox version have the traditional call play screen with the 3 play boxes and you can select one of those 3 plays? Also does anyone know if the 360 can play madden for the regular xbox?

Thanks
Jason

The XBOX version will not play on the 360. What doesn't he like about the play calling? It's the same format they've been using for years. Choose 1 of 6 formations, then choose a play from that formation. I don't remember the last time they only had three options.

I was able to play the 360 version for a bit last night. The graphics are better than NCAA. The way the field changes during rain is great. Huge puddles form and it gets really muddy. Also the grass looks much more life-like. Menu's and gameplay are basically the same as NCAA.

I REALLY don't like their choice to just have a radio announcer instead of Madden doing the play-by-play. It's a huge step in the wrong direction IMO.

It may sound strange, but my favorite new feature (not sure if 06 had it. never played it) is including the sound of the ball flying through the air during passes and kicks. It doesn't sound like much, but in surround sound I think it adds quite a bit to the experience.

I guess I've gotten myself used to NCAA over madden. It's been using the 6 play select for some time now.

thanks, what sucks is if oyur playing against a friend they know what play you are going to run because you only have 1 play highlighted. The old system at least had 3 plays highlighted so you can hide your play call a little bit. This is the reason why we really don't like the new version for the 360.

you can hide plays. hit x on the play you want to run then go to another play and hit a. if you hit y, it makes the sound of selecting a play but it doesn't actually do it. or set your audibles
