I'll wait little longer for PS3 drop down the price or possible XBOX 360 new model includes hard drive + hd dvd drive.

Maybe i'm just taking for granted the number of people using these devices for movies over games.

A $200 add on is still better than having to drop $500 for a machine. I might get it, depending on the specs.

Is there away to connect a wirless Xbox 360 Controller to your PC with the charging cable. I plug it into my pc when am not around to keep it charged, but my PC won't detect it as a gamepad. I even downloaded the drivers, is it because it's wireless that my PC won't read it ?

Right. I've used my PC to charge my controller when my 360 is off. But it can only charge through the USB port.
Also, isn't it true that the -WIRED- 360 controller can be used on PC's? I thought I read that somewhere...

Texas Hold'em free for 48 hours?
"Microsoft isn't bluffing" they boast as they inform gamers they can log onto Xbox Live within the first 48 hours after the launch and download Texas Hold 'em – completely free of charge! The poker title for Xbox Live Arcade on Xbox 360 will launch on Wednesday, August 23 at 6pm EST.
Don't forget the promotion will last for 48 hours only – Wednesday, August 23 through to 6pm EST Friday, August 25. Once the promotion ends at 6:01pm EST Friday, August 25, Texas Hold 'em will then be available for 800 Microsoft Points but those that downloaded it during the 48 hours will get to keep the title forever without having to pay a penny!
It goes without saying that to save yourself almost £8 you should get yourself on the Live Marketplace sometime during the course of those two days and get something for nothing as you don't get much of that nowadays in the console gaming world...
...well done Microsoft!
Update: In an intresting turn of events the page on Xbox.com that once displayed the news now has been taken down. We are not 100% sure what this means but we hope the 48 hour promotion will still go ahead. It's got to go ahead as we just praised Microsoft and we can't just go around unpraising people now can we!

A bit more as well.
In addition to the exciting release of Texas Hold ’em on August 23, gamers can also look forward to new game titles and premium downloadable game content on Xbox Live Arcade Wednesdays from August 16 to September 6, including:
Cloning Clyde Picture Pack, the action adventure/puzzle game created by Wahoo Studios/NinjaBee (developer of the popular Outpost Kaloki X for Xbox Live Arcade), will have four new gamer picture packs available on Xbox Live Marketplace on Wednesday, August 16, allowing gamers to check out more unique pictures of Clyde. Each gamer picture pack: 100 Microsoft Points each.
Time Pilot, the futuristic fighter pilot classic from Konami, lets gamers fight through different eras like never before. High-definition graphics and enhanced gameplay designed specifically for Xbox Live Arcade makes this version even better than the original from 1982. Gamers can download Time Pilot on Xbox Live Arcade Wednesday, August 30. Available: 400 Microsoft Points.
Scramble, the classic side-scrolling ‘shoot-‘em up’ coin-op title from Konami, takes off on Xbox Live Arcade. The 1981 classic, widely considered the first ‘multi-level shooter,’ launches on Xbox Live Arcade Wednesday September 6. Available: 400 Microsoft Points.

Apparently it was posted official on xbox.com as a press release for a short period of time. Various forum posters on xbox.com pasted it from the release onto the forums. No reason why it was removed as of yet.
