I've read on the IGN review that the mulitplayer graphics are no where as good as the single player ones are. Has anyone tried the mulitplayer yet and see a big drop in quality with the graphics in the single player compared to the mulitplayer modes. I am about to pick this up but just dont want to be let down like I was with full spectrum warrior. Tenaciousdave can write up some more impressions of the single and mulit player aspects of the game from what you have tried so far?

I'm having a hard time finding an online game right now. There's just not enough people with the game yet. I'm sure it will pick up later in the day.
The few games I did see going on were set to a time limit of 30 mins. Didn't feel like waiting. After trying to host a game, 30 mins is the default time set up. After about 5 minutes, I gave up on waiting for other people to join.
I did try a little split screen solo just to check out the multiplayer graphics. They are toned down from single player but it's not a big deal. Textures and player models still look good, toned down a little but not much. The biggest difference was the lack of HDR lighting and bloom effects.

Any word as to whether it is more like GR1 or GR2? I couldn't really tell by the IGN review. I loved GR1, but didn't like GR2 at all, so I'll only be getting it (eventually) for XBox if it plays like GR1.

After playing through 3-4 levels of the single player, the multiplayer graphics are toned down A LOT over the single player.
The multiplayer still looked good, but it's not even in the same ballpark as the single player.

Damn it, I need more info! I'm trying to decide to keep or sell COD2 based on how this game plays. I figure I just need one FPS for now.
p.s. thanks for info posted so far.

This game is a blast online. Good maps, good gametypes, strategy is really key in this game. The online component of this game easily demolishes COD 2. Even with the much delayed patch for COD, I don't see it being better than GRAW.
I was hosting 16 player games, nobody had any lag. Although I am on fiber with a 2 meg upload.

The single player is also a better game so far. This game is intense.

Are the multiplayer graphics comparable to the graphics in PD Zero or better/worse? I'm just trying to figure out if the graphics in the single player are really that great or if the multiplayer graphics are really that big of a step down.

The single player graphics really are amazing though.
I played some 16 player co-op... AWESOME! I even got 8 achievement points for the level we played.

Now I probably won;t get any game time in until tomorrow. I hope the single player is reasonably long.
Not that I am a point whore, but I cannot believe some of these mulitplayer achievements. Host 1000 games, 500 headshots! It is acievemtns like this that make the whole point thing stupid. I mean you have nearly impossible achiements like this (doubt I will play online much at all) but EA gives points for anything in the game.

9.2 out of 10.0
I bought the game tonight, hope it's worthwhile.

Training is a bear and makes the game seem overly complex, once you get into the first level though - it feels second nature. Great single player thus far.
The graphics have some issues here and there, but much like Need for Speed Most Wanted, it occasionally tricks the eye into realism - they never look real when you examine them, but let your eyes work on their own and it'll get to you from time to time. Man, I can only imagine what a next-gen GTA will look like.
Oh, and the AI kind of sucks, but it's still fun as hell.

They said there was a delay in the shipment, or some other lie. Anyways, I'll try and get it tomorrow.
