Is that the price for the 360 version? Great price (relatively speaking) if it is.

That's true for almost any game. I picked up Shogo again after not playing for a while and nobody was online.

There's very few exceptions for games that forever stay popular. (the Quakes and Halos, if you will).

Has anyone heard if you can swap out weapons/items with the dead, either friendly or enemy? This was one feature that I really liked in SOCOM but has been missing from this series, and it sucked when your explosive expert was killed and your mission ended because he had the C4 and you could not take it off his corpse to continue the mission.

Outpost.com, which is Fry's website, has both GRAW and Far Cry Instincts Predator for $47.99 right now.

edit:I must say, one of the reasons I am not so interested in a lot of the 360 games is the extra $10 they tacked on to the next-gen titles. It's nice to see one outlet that is offereing a great price on new games. Now if only I had the money I would get both these titles.

Too bad they charge shipping, for me it was around $8.

I just read the IGN preview. This game seems it is mostly based on online play. Is this the feeling that most people are getting? I liked COD2 because the solo play was so good. I am not sure if GRAW is going to offer the same experience.

I am kinda excited to see that Ubisoft just announced Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Vegas for this fall as well.

I am checking the other sites for the reviews. I am glad to read the single-player is being highly regarded.

Sucks that it is a Thursday release, as I would really like to be playing it now.

Boy, those ae my sentiments exactly. My birthday is the 15th and I was going to get Battlefield 2 (I played online a lot on the PC version of the original and loved it) but with it being delayed I'm on the prowl for something.

I really enjoy the single player of CoD (almost done with the Russian Campagin on Veteran), but I stink so bad online that it isn't too much fun. I figured I'd be lost on GR online.

But with my options limited (I didn't really like the Outfit too much-though my 12 year old loves it) and it sounding like the single player version of GR is foinf to be pretty good I guess I'll try it out.

What kind of gameplay does this game offer. I tried full spectrum warrior and it wasnt my cup of tea as there wasnt much action involved. How is this compared to Full spec warriors. What other game is close in gameplay style to the ghost recon series?

You actually control your players in this game...I hated FSW because it felt like a simulator where you had no freedom.

Is GRAW more like the rainbow six series, GR1, GR2, or COD2? is it clan enabled?

I picked up my copy this morning and have played a little bit of the single player.

So far, I'd have to say GRAW'D DAMN! This game is incredible.

I've never really played the Clancy games, a bit of Splinter Cell and a bit of Rainbox Six 3, so I don't think I could make an accurate comparison.
