This last thief quest i think is pretty hard. The puzzle aspect isn't too bad but the number of undead is really tough i think. My spells don't have the zing against them, my magic weapons are running out of charges, the things can detect like none other (or it is a narrow passage that you almost bump them when sneaking by), and if you break 2-5 lockpicks every hard lock then make sure you bring a ton of them. I think i've broken like 50 lockpicks of the 100 i have taken and haven't made it to the last section yet.

They have it in this week's ad for $49.99, on one of the last few pages with the other games. The one from last week was on the first page mid page below the fold, after you removed the 2 page loss-leader sheet; or the second page that was oriented vertically on the page.

I got the price match at BB, plus I used my RZ card and an old $10 GC I have had since xmas, made it only $38 w/ tax, SWEET! Now I just need my 360 back from MS (hopefully today) and some time to spend with this and GR:AW.

I read on the official oblivion boards that you need to speak to a monk or a priest in a chapel

Just borrowed this reply from the boards:

Spoiler:
ok this quest took me a long time. You need 5 empty grand soul gems. 6 garlics, 5 nighshades, 2 bloodgrass. plus you have to kill a specific vampire and stab an argonian. The witch is located along the reed river south of cheydinhal. You can buy most of the ingredients (use your vampire seduction ability before you try talking to them). The killing the vampire was easy enough, just a small cave. also, be careful when you go see the witch because you cant wait in her house.

If you really want to cheat about it, she gives you a potion of cure vampirism, which im sure you could just add to your inventory through the console. Good luck, this quest took me awhile but it was fun.

Hope it helps, I personally haven't been bitten yet...

If you have the unbreakable lockpick before starting this quest and the rest of the Thieves guild stuff, it makes it much easier.

What what what!? There is an unbreakable lockpick? How in the blazes do i get that? It would make my life infinitely easier because even though i am pretty good at the lockpicking mini game it is still a little twitchy and i always screw up a tumbler or two.

If you don't get cured within 3 days, you turn full-fledged vampy.

After that, you have to "feed" every few days or you begin to look very "vampiry" and people won't have anything to do with you. Also, if you are a full on vampire (haven't fed), going out in the sun will kill you.

You have to be a level 10 character and find the Nocturnal's Shrine. Nocturnal's Shrine is on the east road leading out of Leyawiin. Follow the road up North and the shrine is on the right side of the road.

Perform the quest that she gives you, which takes about 10 minutes if done correctly. As a reward, you now have the unbreakable lockpick. You will never have to find or buy lockpicks ever again. It also boosts your Security skill by 40 points.

you know what would be awesome for ES4... co-op gameplay. Not MMO just co-op.

Maybe....i love it exactly the way it is though (maybe without the load times )

Ive never liked MMO games, but I love RPGs....there is just something about them that sinks me in to it and I get hooked....I loved Fable and to me, this is Fable times 10!

Well.. I know what quest I am doing when I get home from work today.
I broke about 60 of the 100 I bought after joining the thieves guild.
My security skill is 26, though.
But an unbreakable lock pick. Nice.

I guess the Rat quest was the 2nd. Because I am an Apprentice, which is the first permotion after you get the rank of Associate for joining.

I bought a house. I can't see too many cons, except that the price can be high, esp in certain cities.
And you have to furnish it before you get things like chest and cupboards to put things in.

But, once you have a house, you can store items securly. It is a nice place to stash items that you find, but don't want to use or have to carry around all the time because you want to hold on to them.

I bought the house in Bravil. You'll eventually need somewhere to store your stuff so it's either that, kill someone and take their house, or I also believe that you can obtain houses through different guilds.

Make potions. That's the best way to get money. As your alchemy goes up the potions you make are worth more and can be sold for a good amount of money.

The house in the Imperial City is the least expensive and cost 2000 before you furnish it inside.
