I think you'll be able to get a PS3 before you can get a 360!

I wonder if the mods will allow this and I hope they will since so many folks want a system. I know it's a long one but it's neccessary:

As I stated in the 360 thread I am having serious issues streaming media from my PC to my 360. After hours or troubleshooting things on my PC MS told me to return my 360 so they could service it. The unit acts normally except for the fact it can't stream the media. I was on Live all day today with no problem . Even after that I was determined to find an answer. It seems the .NET Framework software is the culprit on my PC. I ran a tool that is suppose to clean out all the files from that program so I can do a clean install.....but even this cleaning program can't fix the problem.

The 360 system works fine other than getting a bit warm but that seems to be an
issue with all the systems. I can't leave it ventilated as much as I wish I could because of the cats so I open my audio cabinet when I play, and the cats are locked away, and I close the door when I'm done.

The frustration I felt today while trying to talk to XBOX CS was far more than one person should deal with. I love my 360 but while on the phone today I was playing my wife's DS, and having fun, I realized that maybe a 360 was too much technology for me at this point. I would rather someone here enjoy my system since I can't do it as I hoped to. I know it sounds fishy to be selling a 360 that's only flaw is the PC it's hooked up to but when a game system is more work than fun it's time to give up.

I have the System, Plug & Play Kit and 2 Wireless Controllers (w/ GelTabz Thumb grips on one). I also have PD0, Tiger Woods, Call of Duty 2, Need For Speed: Most Wanted and Kameo. I know everyone hates bundles so I would love to offer these separetly. I might give a few of the games to my buddies when the get their systems so selling those isn't an issue. I don't expect to break even on this deal but I hope to do well enough that I don't feel like an idiot. If anyone has any offers let me know by e-mail, [email protected]. I don't want this to clutter up the thread or cause an issue here in the forum.

List this in the video game trade forum right next door. You could also put a link to the thread in your signature.

bundles suck, I hope the next time some WalMart corp. guy goes to buy a Ferrari the sales dude goes oh I’m sorry sir in order to the one you want you have to buy 8 other ones too its a bundle that'll be 9 million dollars. Oh I know you only want the 125,000 dollar car but I can't do that it wouldn't make sense to sell things by themselves now would it.

I'm sure the PS3 will be in short supply when it comes out too.

I'm also sure they'll try and make you buy that in a bundle...with a 360 probably. Ha.

Anyone that is still looking for one, check Best Buy on Wednesdays(after they open). So far I've seen that they have some in stock. 2 weeks in a row now. Guess they get their stock in on Tuesday nights. Sold out by the end of the day, usually.

So tempting. According to the site, a Best Buy that is about 20 minutes away has them in stock. I think I can wait a few more months.

well if you don't have an HDTV and you're never planning on getting on live then I can certainly understand getting a core unit but otherwise it's not the best way to go, the marketplace demands that you have a HDD and if you ever plan on playing any old xbox games then it's also essential to get a premium unless you feel like just going and buying a seperate HDD.

This appears to be the case. I did a check again, and now 4 Best Buys nearby have them in stock.

Yeah, there are four Best Buy's showing it in stock near me too.

I've asked this before: How do you use the Product Locator? The link always takes me to the point AFTER the 360 was selected as the product. And is it for the Premium or the Core?

The only way I've ever seen it come up is when I've added an item to my cart, which you obviously can't do if it's sold out everywhere. What's the secret?

The tracker just worked for me. My local one popped up and I ran over at lunch time and picked up a Premium. Finally. :-) Of course, $682 later I'm thinking those bundles didn't look too bad.

I ended up getting:
Premium system
12-months of Gold XBox Live
Madden
Plug & Play
Wireless Modem

Plus I finally signed up for the BB Reward Zone.

One question for those who've purchased... did anyone get the 2-year BB protection plan? I'm usually very much against them, but I almost bit. 90 days from Microsoft is not enough on a new product, in my opinion.

Thanks! There's apparently a Premium at the Best Buy near my house - of course, I'm 40 minutes away at work right now

Thanks for posting all the Best Buy info. I went on my break and got a 360. My search is over. They only had 2 Cores. So I just went ahead and got one. I can add the other stuff later. Got lots and lots of reward zone coupons heading my way.

The 5 Best Buys that had any type in stock an hour ago are already sold out here.

I thought all Best Buys had them kept in the back, but this one I went to had them behind the customer service counter.

For some reason, I could never get the site to search for 360s at local stores.

Wow, If that info is accurate then there seems to be plenty of BB's with premiums near me. I checked Core status and less stores had them.
