this is the second time I've missed them by mere moments I was able to add it to my cart but by the time I checked out they were gone.

you know, I didn't even think to remove any of the games i didn't want. I was too busy trying to key in my CC info and all. A co-worker who sits behind me had one in his cart, but could not check out .. kept getting a busy message. I wonder if he will still have it in there.

Nope that's what happened to me the first time. The lady on the phone told me that's the system updating itself. Your friend is screwed I'm afraid

For what it's worth, you can print out your online receipt and bring the unwanted items (games, peripherals, etc.) back to a B&M Circuit City for a refund. I got in on last week's Circuit City bundle, and they shipped the console separately from the rest of the stuff. Everything but the console arrived on Tuesday, and I returned all of it except for Madden 06 without any problems. The console is arriving today - it's out for delivery at the moment, according to FedEx's website.

Thanks. That thought hit me a moment after I posted the message. I guess my mind got mixed up with all those messages of people wanting to return the Amazon items at Wal-Mart.

Our Sam's did on release day. 1 per membership card. So if you came with a friend who is not a member, only the member would get the system.

That is messed up about returning everything. Makes you wonder if there is any point to it at all for all the retailers if they are just taking everything back anyway.

I would think most big businesses can do this.
None of the Wal-Mart's I have ever been to can.

Are you guys just stumbling across the bundles or are you watching the tracker lists and then running to the stores/sites?

You wouldn't get the CostCo bundle? The $1K bundles are a little crazy though...

My only hope is Best Buy. Hopefully it's not as wet Saturday night as it's been the last few days.

I just happened to check the tracker at Ben's Bargains, I saw that CC had the premium system in stock, but once I tried to add it to my cart it was sold out.

Then went back to the tracker and the CC bundle had a timeout or error message next to it. I clicked it and there it was available. Just got lucky I guess. It seems like everywhere is starting to get more in with all the activity lately so just keep checking.

San Diego Fry's has them hiding in the back. I got one BUT it's a bundle:

Buy an Xbox Premium
Plus 4 games of your choosing
Plus an additional wireless Controller

So Xbox +Kameo + Condemned + Tony Hawk + Perfect Dark Zero limited + controller was $732.64 with tax.

You'll have to ask the employees to write up a quote as the systems are locked up.

Don't ask why i wasn't at work. And I sold it to my friend for the exact cost. His preorder never came in.

I still need one for myself as well. I've tried the Costcos in my area and have struck out all over the place.

Anyone go down to Fry's in San Diego yet? I wonder how many they had total. The said "we got a lot" when I asked.
