Indeed. It's in Toronto - McCowan and the 401 for anyone who wants to know.

Has anyone ordered from Amazon (Toy 'R' Us, really) and not gotten their product?

Oh... I was thinking of only having it shipped once... not me having to go to the post office to reship.

What, it's just your cc#...

I was able to order one for KMart as well. If this one goes through I'll say goodbye to that stupid bundle! The original page went to "sold out" before I could finish checking out so who knows...

Well... We'll give it a shot.

I'll keep going back and forth through checkout pages to avoid a timeout... But I'm betting it won't go well.

Next-gen console notification service live

CE Buys now taking registrants for service that notifies customers when Xbox 360s are in stock at online retailers.

Tired of refreshing Web sites to see if Xbox 360s are in stock? CE Buys, based out of Northern California, is letting those starved for the next-gen console get some fresh air. The company is now taking sign-ups for its Premium Alert Service, which notifies clients via e-mail or text message when online merchants have Xbox 360s in stock. The service will also let gamers know when sites begin taking preorders for the PlayStation 3 and Revolution. The service costs $39 for one year, or is free for the basic service, which has a several-hour delay.

I don't know how valid or helpful this website is, but it could be helpful.

You're much better off just using WebMon to monitor the pages for you because any web site could go out of stock in less than a minute. $39, or the free for the basic service which has a several-hour delay? Rip-Off.

No. I didn't really want to make a run to the post office at x-mastime, and have to hassle with a backorder situation or some other delay for something I don't even want at this time. Who knows when I would have it in hand.

Just wanted to help someone out by getting use out of what is in my cart, but having it sent/paid/emailed to them, not me.

It's still letting me get all the way to the finalize button, if anyone trusts me and wants to take a shot...

People are reporting that the kmart.com thing is an error and that it's happened a few times since launch. They are confirming this by calling the number on the site.

You would be correct, I just called. So much for that.

Now it's either the Amazon bundle or Best Buy...

[rainman]Kmart sucks[/rainman]

Well, for what it's worth, my order is in!!! rocketsauce, if it comes through and you still need one at that time, you are second in line. BigDave has dibs if he wants it. He promises pics of his wife on his Disney trip if I can get him one.

Maybe if Kmart backs out, I can raise a stink and get something out of it.

I'm not gonna call. Just gonna let it ride.
