Yep, still sold out there.

I tried the Target web site at first, and it was listed as sold out (not even the picture of the bundle came up). Now the picture is there, but when you click add to cart it says in small print that there's a problem and it's out of stock.

Yeh the target deal is gone now.

It's my own fault for waiting, I had it in my cart at Amazon, all ready and thought for like 6 or 7 minutes on whether I should get it or not.

When I decided to go for it, I was already too late. Of course I'm not mad, since the bundle was more than I needed anyway. I'll be in Target tomorrow doing some regular shopping, who knows, I might get lucky.

I called gamestop customer service earlier when I noticed my system was "backordered". After waiting on hold 20 minutes the guy told me to not pay attention to the order status. He said that the bundles are being sent to them as bundles and they will ship as soon as they arrive at their warehouse. The absolute latest shipping date is tuesday. Or so he said.

Keep checking with your Walmarts. I had my wife go buy on Tuesday and Check. The little old lady in electronics checked the computer and said they had 6 premiums coming to them on their next truck. She said to check with her at 3:00 on Wednesday. Well I sent her back on Wen at 3:00 and sure enough they came in on a truck- a ups truck. When she got there there were 4 people waiting and she was able to snag the next to last one. I am a happy camper.
I had planned on driving 45 minutes to my nearest bestbuy on Sat night in hopes of getting one, knowing I was just going to be disappointed. Now I can stay up playing on Sat night.
Funny but sad story on the last one left. A lady had seen what was going on so she jumped in line to get the last premium but you had to pay for product right there, no layaway no walking through the store with it. She didn't have enough money to get it so she was trying to call someone to bring her some money. The lady told her that if someone comes in to get it they would have to let them have it. My wife ran out of there worrying that there might have been an ugly scene.

How is that possible? Wal-Mart doesn't have computers that tell info like that, which is always why it's a pain to find something because they can't look it up like the other stores.

no bundles at my Sam's Club. They said they expected them Tuesday, but got none yet. The said I could call when they opened and they would be able to tell me if they were in.

Walmart does have computers that can do this. They know exactly how many items they have in any store and they know if any are in route.

I would think most big businesses can do this.

They are shipping the bundles with the console. My friend said the console was on backordered but then when they shipped it, the console was shipped too.

I don't know, maybe your store isn't to helpful. The lady did tell my wife on Tuesday that she is not supposed to do this but she would anyway. I have had them check for me an item that my local store doesn't have in surrounding stores. One I remeber for sure was the dvd recorder that had a harddrive in it. My store didn't have any but they looked up another store 15 miles from me that did. I went and bought it so I pretty sure they were not lying to me. I would keep checking some of the smaller stores were really trying to help me. Kmart had my name by phone, Sam Goody took my name. I really didn't think I would get one until after the holidays.

While doing my morning routine of Target, Walmart on the way to work, I had my coworker call all the Sam's Clubs. They all said no shipments. He said he called 3, there are 4 here, so I called the 4th (about an hour-hour and a half after he called) and the 4th one said they already sold out. On a whim I start calling the other 3, the first 2 stated they were already sold out, the last said they had 3 left. I fly across town, literally the furthest one from me. I make it there and outside a lady is loading up 2 in her SUV. I go in and find none, I then spot one on display and go get a manager. I told him that I did not appreciate being lied to by employees on the phone,etc and had him cut down the one on display. It was $449 with a wireless controller and 1 plug and play kit. The box also shows a free remote, so this is a sweet bundle.

Target had the bundles this morning. I had one in my cart, but decided against it. Also, they had a 10% off coupon. Pretty good deals.

I would have raised an equally upsetting point that this is the hottest and hardest item to find this season, and the store not only lied to you about having any, but they let one customer buy two of them.

A lot of people on gamefaqs are saying that too. I'm hope I will get it early next week.

cc has them in stock now, but the site must be getting hammerd since you get an error when you try and check out.

From my understanding Sam's doesn't have a policy against buying more than one. Fucked up, yeah but they do it anyhow.

Circuit City just had some up and I think I managed to grab one. Just waiting for the conf. message.
