These B&M bundles are complete garbage. It should be illegal, if it is not.

I disagree. You get a bunch of stuff at retail, which beats paying 2 or 3 times retail on e-bay. It also removes the scalpers from the picture. It's a lot harder to turn a $1k bundle than it is just a premium system. That's why some of those sets have been up for a few hours. It lets the gamers who want them for Xmas buy them.

Now if only Gamestop would ship my 360! The rest of the stuff arrived today, but does me no good w/o the unit itself.

everytime you go looking for a 360 but don't find one, just think of this sound and you'll laugh and feel better. It's what I've been doing that when i can't find one (in the course of like a day and a half or so I've decided that I'm no longer on the fence, if I can find one I'm buying it!)

I really should have seen it coming though, I can't tell you how many times I've said "yeah maybe in a few months or so I'll buy X" and then I end up getting it two weeks later ;)

Here's my story and I'm not trying to rub it in.

Back in the fall, let's say around August or so, I went to Game Rush and inquired about reserving an XBox 360 since I had a lot of credit there. They told me that they were not taking reservations and didn't know when they would.

About a month later I went in and inquired again and they said they had already fulfilled all of their pre-orders. I said to myself WTF! :mad:

So, I pretty much resigned myself to not getting a 360 until the New Year. Earlier this week there was a flyer in the LA Times from Game Rush saying "Come on in and reserve your 360". So I stormed in ready for battle and asked to reserve my 360 and they said "Sorry, but all of our 20 pre-orders are full." And I said, but you must allow me to put a deposit down, because it says here that I should come in and reserve a 360.

So a little more arguing and attitude on my part and they finally give in and take my $50. They tell me that I probably won't get mine until February and I said that was fine, because I had the money there (sold those $8 DVDz) and this is where I was going to buy it.

So today a little after 4 pm I get a call at work and it is the guy from Game Rush telling me to come in and get my 360, because they got 8 in and I'm # 5 on the list. I couldn't believe it. 3 days later and my 360 is in. I left work early expecting the worse (they gave it someone else or worse yet it would only be a core system). I wait in line and someone else is picking up their 360 and then I go up and he brings it to me in all of it's glory 'An Xbox 360 Premium box'.

It has the sticker 'Bonus Media Remote' and my question is, is that remote in the box or do I have to open the box and then mail something in and I had better do it right away or they may be out?

So, I'm going to spend the weekend hooking everything up. I still have my XBox & PS2 & Gamecube hooked up, so it's going to be fun and interesting as to how I am going to hook up everything. Never enough optical inputs.

So, sorry for all of you out there struggling to get your XBox 360. It looks like there are more shipments being received at the retail level, so you might just get lucky! :)

I was able to get one from Circuit City today, and they've already charged my card. So it looks like this won't be another Gamestop.com debacle.

Yeah, I contemplated making a $200 profit on EBay, but then I showed the box to my friends in the apartment complex and they made sure I was going to keep it! ;)

My gamestop.com system is back in stock once again. When will it actually ship? Who knows. I am content with waiting for that bundle now. I plan on unloading the controllers, Madden, the guides and the controller "gels". With the way the weather is outside I am glad to not have to run around every morning anymore.

Wow, your GameRush got EIGHT more in....nice. I got mine on the launch date,but have been looking for another. My GR always seems kinda dead, so maybe I can get lucky. I know that got 2 extra about a week ro two ago...so who knows, maybe I can get lucky.

I got mine today at Best Buy Showed up in line this morning at 8:00 walked out at 8:45. I got the second last one instock. Apparently they had got 40 in.

That stinks for the people who will stand in line Sunday morning hoping to get one :(
