Yea, I don't get it..is that guy some sort of role model to kids now? Plus, his music sucks and from what I hear he's also a terrible actor. Just my opinion though. Don't want to offend anybody here. That game just seem like such a bizzare choice for that person to mention.

I agree. Go in there and demand your money back. Maybe in a classier way than the quote above. They will get the idea. Tell them they lost a customer for life. They will change their mind.

yeah, what a shitty (sorry, but it is) thing to do. I just had something similar happen at GameCrazy. Paid in full for many months and still getting the shaft even though I was on list 1.

Now, I have to go and try to get my money back while keeping my temper in check. These creeps are not going to want to refund me. They are going to want to give me store credit since I paid cash. No way!!!

I will never shop in one of these little dive sideplaces again. Pure trash...

Jezze it sucks that all of you guys who pre-ordered are getting screwed over. That is some bullshit. You should go in there all fire and brimstone, and really make a scene. I know this will make you look like an ass, but they just may give you what you want to get you to shut up and leave. Because being nice and calm about it will get you nowhere with those kinds of people. Believe I know the types that work at those stores. If you threaten to take your business elsewhere, they won't give a flying fuck. I've worked in stores where customers have said that and after they leave the manager(s) always have a good laugh about it.

Unfortunately, for alot of the idiots who work at those types of stores, they could care less. Just one less customer they have to deal with...

It's sad that video game specialty stores are so horrible. The last time I was at EB Games, I bought a NEW copy of PGR2 for $49.99 and got an open copy. The guy said it wasn't used, but how would I have known.

My cousins are obsessed with him. They have the G-Unit shoes, hoodies, albums, you name it.

Back when those stores took back open games if returned before seven days (or however many), they'd just shrinkwrap it back up and sell it for full price. You could always tell because the security seals were gone.

And then there's always the very last copy of a title which is the display case and they give you the display box and bring out the game in some plastic ziploc bag, and sometimes the instructions are a photocopy of the original. I guess you're SOL if you want to return them because they're already opened.

Selling a used title for $5 less than the new price doesn't help their cause either.

I'll be looking around for one on the 22nd. If I find one, cool. If not, no big deal. I didn't get a PS2 until more than a year after it's launch.

That happened when I bought Civilization IV from Gamestop. She pulls out an opened box and hands it to me. I asked what would happen if I wanted to return it, I didn't open it. She said they might give me store credit, but she pretty much told me I was SOL if I wanted to return it. Naturally I didn't, but still.

I know I've asked this umpteen times, but does anyone have any info on Sam's Club online preorders? I've tried emailing them for about a week and a half, but haven't heard anything.

I know I'll be getting one...I was #1 at GAmeRush, however, I'm not sure how many my store is getting. I just hope they follow the list.

Also, they would NOT lot me have my 360 games that I preordered. They are holding everything until the 22nd. So, I guess I may just get it that morning. It's a little upsetting since most other people have been allowed to get them from GR. Maybe the lady had no clue about anything though.

I was going to pay off my 360 also, and they said I could NOT. weird.

I don't get the point of holding the games/accessories. My Best Buy is doing the same thing, which means I have to make two stops nowhere near each other. I'm not getting the system there, so it would have been nice to pick them up this week so when I get the system I can head home and enjoy it. Damn.
