It ends up making the game feel more arcadey. Kind of like Burnout:PGR as CoD2:GRAW

Since there are no shields or anything too you need to make the sniper move or something in a really good position would be nigh unmoveable. If you know where they are though you can smoke them out.

Also, no worries about people making fun of you. Just join a game with goLucky or Martin - we pick on them first

That's cool it gives the option. I really like it though. I have seen many a time when the person shot me and from their camera their site was a good 1/2 inch off. Gave me an excuse to bitch at them

Yeah, I've seen deaths where the shooter wasn't even dead aim on the person.

You know what? I would love to play online with you guys. But I'm just being a cheap bastid as far as buying new MARKETPLACE stuff. I've yet to even buy points and everytime I see 400points for something I cringe. Let alone those newer 400+ downloads.

Well, I got in with goLucky, Deftones and Exodus Prime last night. My first game with DVDTalkers. Had fun. It's nice to play with friendly people sometimes rather than the 12 year old, smack talkin, potty mouth kids you run into a lot of the time.

You need to pursue goLucky though. He, Doctor West, and tbird are probably the best CoD players we play with.

I did that on PC version, not console version. I have been playing Call of Duty online for 2 years and Call of Duty 2 seems to be easy for me.

Holy shit, I am about ready to throw the controller through the TV. Going back and playing on Veteran to get the points.

I'm at the one level where you have to sticky bomb the tank as it avoids you around those brick walls. You need to attack from the side, but there doesn't seem to be any good way to do it. As soon as the tank sees you, it avoids you by going the other way. Grrrrrrrrrrr.

Just wait until you get to the clearing the houses levels, and then the silo. They had me to the point of quitting veteran mode.

On this level, I made sure I cleared out all of the enemy troops before I even attemped to make a move on the tank. Moving around the area in the prone position seemed to help as well.

Are we talking about the level in the snow (Russian campaign?)? If so, then I was able to get the bomb on the tank easily. It was not being killed immediately afterwards that annoyed the hell out of me. I would run away from the tank to make sure I wouldn't get killed in the explosion, and while runnning away someone would always shoot me.

Well for anyone that cares, I got through it last night. A couple of lucky smoke bomb tosses allowed me to sneak behind it. Then I got worked on the next stage.

I'm progressing VERY slowly on veteran level. I get frustrated and don't play for a week or two, then I try again and get a little further.

If this is the same area I'm thinking of... It took me a few tries, but I didn't have too much trouble with it. I think I went right, then worked counter clockwise around the 'block' of remaing rubble. I chucked a smoke grenade and just ran through it. I guess the tank couldn't get away because he couldn't see me for the smoke. Stuck the sticky bomb on and ran for cover.

I'd love to be able to see video clips of different people playing the different parts of this game. I get the feeling that the parts that drive me nuts are easy for some people because they have a creative way of going about it. I'm probably making some parts harder than they need to be because I'm trying to brute-force me way through to the checkpoint.

I just beat the D-Day campaign on veteran the other day, including clearing the buildings a-f and the silo. Talk about a bitch of a level.

Just thought I'd pat myself on the back.

Good work. Those were the hardest levels in the game for me.

Bitch of a time getting through that last Russian part where they rush the building. If you spend too much time trying to pick them off, a few come through and kill you from behind. If you spend too much time waiting at the doors to kill the rushers, too many come from both sides. Got it after like the 15th try.
