So are those rumors of a non-bundle for 200 officially squashed now?

Now this is actually a worthwhile bundle. Lets face it the strength of this system is multmedia not games (no I'm not saying all the games suck I know they will evenutally catch up there). 1GB memory stick and viewing stand is really worth it for $100. You have plenty of space for encoding videos and for saving all the games you will probably ever need to.

I just wish they had launched with this bundle. They will sell a ton of these.

Anybody get The Con...?
User reviews seem pretty good, but I should probably not buy anything before LCS.
Any thoughts would be appreciated...

ANother question...I have a few pics on my PSP but they are in a format called BitMap i think, and they take up way too much space(each pic is like 1 whole MB or more). Anyone know of a program where i can convert those picture files for something that can save me some more space?

Open up the files in Microsoft Paint (Start -> Programs -> Accessories) and then Save As. In the file format drop down menu, choose JPEG and save the files as that format.

Is the gigapack going to be up for preorder soon? I believe that's what I'll get.

Gigapack is up for pre-order at EBGames.com. I expect that everyone else is the same.

Mods: There's an accessory that lets you use SD and CF instead of MS but it's offered at a site that offers other gaming things not welcomed here. Is it ok to at least post the picture, if not the website?

Is the item "bulky" at all...would it effect your gameplay?

Its the same thing as that new Datel 4GB pack for the PSP. All that is, is a 4GB mini hard drive that connects via SD. If you remove the hard drive, you can easily plug in a 4GB SD card. They have them at Lik-Sang for $200 with 2X battery included.

I imagine what Gator Deb is talking about is a variation on that idea with the hard drive or battery.

Except it's $99

Still waiting to hear from the mods.

Oh, and they have one with a 4 gig HD, and that accepts SD/MMC/CF/MicroDrive, for $179

$25 Worldwide DHL shipping for both.

Hopefully I can at least show you the picture.

Well I think pictures are ok, this is just a device to use other memory cards.

I found it for $204 shipped for a 4 gig version and $124 with just the adapter. The batteries can be rechargeable and charged with USB. It's called the Neo PSP Joypad 500.

I'm very tempted.

PS2 games can be played on the PSP via LocationFree TV.

Hopefully the experience will be improved for PS3 -> PSP gaming, but its a good first step. As it stands now, RPGs would work great (can someone say FFX on the go?).

hey I was thinking about getting the new psp giga bundle but only saw it on ebgames.com pre-order page.

Is 299 the official price? are there going to be any promotions or deals for the day after thanks giving?

I believe it does....I haven't tried yet though, but I think there would've been a bigger fuss like with GTA:LCS
