Just what in the hell is that supposed? Has anyone heard anything?

I'm wondering if this is more of a "we know Halo & Halo 2 will work on the 360" message and not so much of a message that there are new features.

I don't think they are hinting at new features in the sense of new maps and things like that.

I think the current speculation is that the game will visually look better due to hardware improvements on the 360 over the current XBox. At least thats what I've heard/read so far.

How can the games possibly look better physically though I don't get it, I'm already playing on an HD display with the HD pack.

They could look better if they somehow made signifigant improvements to textures, etc, via a patch on the hard drive, which would be pretty crazy. It wouldn't be any different than a mod patch for Doom or whatever that replaces the graphics.

I guess that's true and since 90% of my time with the Xbox has been dedicated to Halo/Halo2 I might as well play them again on the 360, hell I'm not going to be able to afford many other games @ $60 a pop anyhow ;) I want to play through Halo1 with custom soundtrack how cool would it be when the flood show up on your radar and the music kicks in "I WANNA ROCK!!" fuckin right :D

I've never played with anyone here. When was it that Bungie reset the online stats? I havn't played since before they did that. I have some stats from someone else playing on my Live account though.

When do you guys generally play? I might try to get on at some point and play with you all :) You should have a fun time of killing me :)

I generally hop on somewhere around 7-8 (indiana) and play till around 11 or 12. Not everyday but often enough. Feel free to add me the tag is in my sig; we have alot of really good guys from this site playing H2. :thumbsup:

BTW has anyone noticed the rediculous view/posts on this thread there are only about 5% posts compared to the number of views...that's fucked up.

Ok, I think I remember some of the reasons that I stopped playing. I tried playing online again. My ranking is fairly low considering I haven't played much since the stats were reset. I get matched up with people of the same Rumble Pit rankings, but their overall rankings are between 20 and 30. This leads to games that are not so fun at all. I think this is why I pretty much stayed to custom games with my friends and didn't play out in ranked games. Sure, I suck, but I thought the ranking system was supposed to let me play with other people that suck :)

Well hector I'd say in any given night with the DVDtalk Crew we play 85% custom games and they're fun as hell :thumbsup:

I'm not going to be around this weekend, but I'm going to try to catch up with you guys next week. I'm sure I'll get owned there too, but it's not so bad when you're playing with friends :)
