Well I didn't make it. I crashed at the start of Battlestar Galactica (9 central) and didn't wake up till midnight. I will be on tonight 9pm or later. I may check in around 6:30-7 just to see if anyone is on.

Only been to Indiana once. That was some 25 yrs ago with some friendsfor some big fireworks display above the river. Can't remember the town. It's been every bit of 10 years since I went to any strip club. We had a couple of guys from work that would go like 3-5 times a month. Of course they constantly cried about not having any money for lunch. That got one guy strung out on so much his wife divorced him after she found out how much he was spending. And she was sharpe looking. It's ok but I compare it to a kid going to a Toy Store without a dime in his pocket. He can look all he wants to but he's leaving empty handed.

And Martin did you ever get your router issue worked out? What was the deal again? I've got a Linksys WRT54G but I hard wired y XBox instead of wirless. I just got 75' of Cat5e and ran it under the house and used wall plates. The computer room is right next to the kitchen so I didn't want any interference. Well got go. See ya'll tonight.

No man I keep procrastinating on the router issue, sometimes it works fine so I just say screw it, other times I keep getting disconnected and I get pissed and just leave. either way the setup is going to change soon so I don't have much motivation to mess with it right now. I think I'm gonna be on later, but I don't want to commit to anything right now, i'd hate to dissappoint you buzz.

his wireless will probably blow up. i'll probably be on later after 11 if i'm feeling ok. on a good note i got to listen to the entire alice and chains CD this morning because i crashed on MARTIN5's couch and the bastard could sleep through a truck crushing his legs. his alarm plays CDs at super high sound lvls. and he slep through it for like an hour and a half. WORD!!!

okay guys i'll be on tomorrow night around 6 or 7 EST. i'm not feeling the greatest and work sucked so i'll see everyone on then, if we can get 8 on tomorrow or monday we can do some major matches.

Sorry to hear you're feeling a bit under the weather Bean. Here that stomach flu has been hitting hard. We had a couple of schools closed down because of it. I went on twice last night just briefly (7:30-9:30 ctz) and didn't see anyone. I ended up poping in the Unreal Championship 2 demo to toy with some different moves and all and ended up playing for 2-3 hrs. Man this game is fun. I haven't tried the online yet since I'm trying to get down the switching from FPS to melee combat and the combinations of the "adrenaline powers". Plus the "AI" bots are no slouch. I went walking around some maps just to look at the architecture and all the details. Level designers just don't get enough credit sometimes.

I should be on tonight. It seems in the past we've had some good success on Sunday and even Monday nights. We'll see. If anybody thinks they'll be on and what time just send a "all clan" message. That way it'll keep everyone from guessing.

Oh no!!! per Buzz's recommendation I got the demo for UC2 and I have to say that the game is bad ass, last night I played for about three hours when I got home and then I watched "Shaolin Soccer" then I played for about two hours. I even forgot to eat dinner. Before Halo2 came out I wasn't playing any games really aside from the occasional HaloPC game and I never actually played the other Unreal titles except for UG, now I'm playing way too much (not that you all have noticed) and I'm afraid with UC2 I'm not going to do anything besides play xbox live all the time. If you guys don't already have the demo, go get it.

i want to play it too, yeah another cool ass game that will make MARTIN5's room mate cry because its only on xbox, the best console ever made!!!! It was cool enough the new Star Wars game made him use xbox, but this will be even better. LONG LIVE XBOX!!! LONG KILL MARTIN5's ROOM MATE!!!!

So last night we ran a couple practice games: plasma pistols and battle rifles. Holy crap - this is a friggin great combo. Gracias to Mr. Fixer. It worked great on Ivory Tower and especially on Beaver Creek since they are paired up so closely. I think there is also a close pair on the landing pad of Ascension. On Midship, the BR worked great, but I didnt have a pp. Our 8th grader got like 23 kills (20 in a row!) and only two deaths.

However, when trying to work out a new combo, playing as a level 7 against 11s doesnt really help you look like anything but a noob.

As far as playable hours, the spouse has laid down the line - she gets home, it goes off. Ouch baby, where's the love! So I will normally be on from 430-700 eastern. However, if Law and Order is a rerun, she might relent and let me play.

If you are looking for someone to be staff who's online a bunch, I wouldn't mind since I'm playing quite a bit. If you are looking for someone to actually be responsible and stuff in the clan; however...

Don't know if you knew or not, but they are paired up even closer if you consider grabbing the plasma pistol through the wall in the back. It's real convenient if you spawn in the base.

Sorry I haven't tried to be on more. I'm the one that usually gripes about no-one being on most the time. I'll be sure to check every night this week. Don't know if I can catch you "rearadmir01" since you're an hour ahead. That's 3:30-6:00 my time and lately that's about when I leave work.

Speaking of rearadmir01 I've tried that P.P and battle rifle combo and it's pretty good. The only downfall is if you miss the P.P charged shot your butt is toast.

Well sorry about hooking you up with "UC2" demo Martin. But you're not alone in that opinion of the game. If you check the "Most Popular" live games chart on XBL the demo is at number (16)! Not bad for a demo disc. The game was scheduled for a early March release but it's now the second week in April.Theres a offical forum that's full of posts and the folks at Epic do read and post there. They've already corrected some aspects and minor flaws of the game. Everyone thinks by releasing the demo early hardcore gamers and Unreal fans have spotted these "playable" errors and Epic has fixed them.

They have new screen shots and if anything you must see the new shots of the characters. They make the WWF look like romper room. The best and most badass collection of characters I've ever seen in one game. Like I said we may have "DVD Talk v2.0 Halo2/UC2 Clan" before it's over with.

So Beaver Creek, Ascension, Collussus, Midship, and Ivory Tower all have very accessible plasma pistol/battle rifle combos.
I think the pp on Lockout is in that courtyard closest to the sniper side.
Anyone know where the pp is on Foundation? Graveyard ?

We absolutely ruled several times, only getting spanked sorely by some middle schoolers on phantom Lockout. Also had several close wins and losses 50-49 ish.

Hey rearadmir01. I saw you both but I guess you didn't get my message asking to join? No big deal. I wasn't even going to play much. The wife had a very bad day and said Hot Tub tonight. It's always around 8-9. Right in the middle of me trying to get on Halo. Just when we were going out it started to rain so back in and I went on Halo. I was just going in for a few games but ended up in Rumble Pit for 2hrs. It was ok but left a bad taste in my mouth due to the "kiddie attitude" in there.

I'd rather loose and have my butt kick playing with folks here and "Pete's" gang than win and deal with most of the ones I played with last night. The headset has to go. And how some of these with a 1 or 2 ranking come in and get 25 kills and like 6 deaths I don't know.

I don't know about this "overload" thing. I mean thanks but there's way more qualified and heck-of-a-more experienced players here to choose from. I was thinking more like "Head of Moral Support". Better yet "Court Jester". Whatever the case I just hope we can get 4-6 players together for one night. I'll try again tonight 8-9. can't be on late tonight since I was on till 12:00 last night.
