Some more new titles added to the list of upcoming DS games
Barnyard
Lost in Blue
Nicktoons
Scooby Doo Unmasked
Shrek Superslam
nothing to stellar but LOST IN BLUE looks kind of promising its a stranded on a desert Island sim kind of game from Konami.

I never played Survival Kids but LIB looks pretty cool, the graphics aren't all that stunning but from the screenshots in NP, it looks like it utilizes the touch screen well.

Picked up Ridge Racer DS today pretty cheap at Blockbuster. Wow, what a piece of total dog crap that one is. Okay it is probably better than Sprung, but not worth buying at any price.
Damn, where are all the DS games worth buying? Wario Ware was fun, but I've done everything possible on it. I preordered Polarium which looks good, but Yoshi Touch and Go really doesn't look very appealing and Pokemon Dash looks like complete garbage.
I hope the releases pick up soon.

I hear more and more people selling or trading in DS's for PSP. One thing you'll not see....peeps selling the GBA. That's a solid portable device.

DS is even more solid if you're willing to shell out the cash. Much better screen, GBA games look fantastic on it, enough so to justify the extra money over the SP on it's own IMO. Plus it's more comfortable to play IMO, the SP is just too damn small.
The gameline up does stink, but there's a lot on the horizon I'm looking forward to (see post a page or two back for list).

I'm happy with the DS, but sad to see the niche it will have to survive in like the GameCube. However, that was Nintendo's plan all along so things are probably going just as they figured.

I saw spider-man 2 for used half off so I picked it up. I am having fun with it. The graphics blew me away! I hope more games look this good! There is new hope that Need for Speed underground will be a nice game if it can pull off similar graphics I think

This is where purchasing an extended warranty at EB could come in handy. Even though I didn't get the warranty at launch, it's avaliable anytime so hey, 25 bucks and a "OOPS I dropped it" should get the job done. Now only a matter of time before the new colors land in the US.

Some good games arriving in Japan:
Famitsu reviews some new DS games for Japan.
The latest issues of the popular Famitsu Magazine in Japan has reviewed a pair of new Nintendo DS titles. Reviewed in the new issue are Namco's Pac-Pix and Meteos, developed by Q-Entertainment, which is headed up by Tetsuya Mizuguchi. Mizuguchi is most well known for his work on Space Channel 5.
Pac-Pix scored well and earned a total score of 33 from four reviewers (8, 8, 8, 9). Meteos scored an outstanding 38 (9, 9, 10, 10). This is obviously a very high score, and is quite surprising.
Pax-Pix is scheduled for release on April 26th. Meteos does not yet have a US release date, though a US release is expected.
