Yeah, wow. It looks even better when it's not a blurry webcast...

I just wet my pants....twice. First when I saw the PSP pics, and then even more so when I watched the Zelda trailer.

Can somone host the pictures of the PSP from that ferrago webpage? Seems like they can't handle the bandwidth.

PSP looks awesome so far as does the new Zelda (even though I don't own a GC... yet)

The DS looks pretty ghetto in my book (aesthetically speaking). The concept is cool but the design looks 15 years old.

I don't really like the design of the PSP or DS. The PSP looks to narrow (top to bottom) especially in the pick with it being held. Looks like it would cause me hand cramps.

The DS just looks kind of silly.

But I wasn't planning on getting either anyway, given that I have no use for portable 3D gaming. Though I have to admit a new Metroid will be tough to resist as that's my 2nd favorite series behind Zelda.

I hadn't cared about the releases of either the DS or the PSP. I have now changed my mind. The PSP looks awesome and well designed. Sony is going to put all of their weight behind it too. I can't wait to get it.

As for the DS, i'm still not on board.

DS looks like an abortion, PSP looks good but I'm still unconvinced, new Zelda makes me weep happy tears.

According to IGN, the Nintendo DS design is still being tweaked. So the final system will look different. Here are some great hands-on Nintendo DS impressiosns from GameSpy.com

Did anyone else see that list of developers for the PSP? All 99 of them! GT4, MGS, and a crap load of EA games is going to make this one fun console.

I read the post were someone mentioned battery life on the PSP. According to http://www.pspinsider.com , the battery life will vary, but it was said that it would last 10 hours for gaming. I must have missed that part on the webcast for a buffer.

I am still not at all impressed with the lineup, especially with the N64 graphics. I don't see why everyone is spooging over Metroid DS, the screenshots on Nintendo are underwhelming to say the least.

Because Games > Graphics, and Nintendo will ALWAYS be above the rest (way above in this age) as far as great games go. You don't even need a real screenshot or specs, you mention a Nintendo game and people will want it, because they know it will be good.

I have to say, this years E3 is great (not that I am going). The announcements so far have been awesome, and the expo hasn't even started yet!

Metroid Prime 2 was revealed a few weeks ago, a new look Zelda has just been revealed, now all we need is that Mario 128 game (or any mario sequel). That would be the icing on the cake for Nintendo.

Heh, the DS and Zelda are obviously getting all the attention today, but Metroid Prime 2 still looks incredible. Nintendo has put up a video on their website:

MP2 Dial-up

MP2 Broadband

Unfortunately, it's not the same one they showed at their press conference today. That one showed Samus doing a somersault jump and using the Space Jump/Spin Attack in third-person view. My jaw nearly hit the floor. Anybody have a link to that video?

I was already curious about PSP, but now that I've seen it and the final specs...wow. Just wow. Can't wait for this one.

I wish I could say the same for the DS. I don't know, I've had every Nintendo system since the 8-bit NES, but the Gamecube just didn't do it for me and the DS doesn't look enticing to me. About a year ago, I sold my Gamecube and got an Xbox instead and have been very happy with my decision. Still, I was eager to hear about Nintendo's next handheld, but this dual-screen DS...eh, it just doesn't do it for me. But the Zelda video...yikes. Might have to buy a Gamecube again after all. Spectacular, even with the obvious Balrog rip-off.

Regardless of what has each of us pumped, we all have to admit, what a great day for videogaming today has been! Tons of great announcements for everyone.

For those like me who, unfortunately, cannot attend E3, I found a site that seems pretty good at getting E3 press releases.
Click here for E3 news releases.

More high res PSP goodness at gamespot!! Dang this thing looks slick. They show some different colored ones too. Doesn't look like it'll be uncomfortable to hold but we'll have to wait and see. Mommy I want one

UPDATE:
Holy smokes!!!! I just crapped my pants. There is literally poo in my BVD's. Look at the little blurb at the bottom of the GT4 Mobile box!!!! Online and wireless.
