Strange haven't had that problem either. But a quick question, I've been lookin all over the place for a restore magica spell (assummin this spell exists). I wanna enchant a ring or amulet with this spell so I don't have to worry about carryin a buncha restore magica potions but for the life of me I can't find someone who sells this spell. Any ideas where I can buy this spell?

I'm not sure, but try a silver, magic, or daedric weapon. I think they're the only weapons to use against some creatures. I've been using the Daedric weapons & have been able to kill everything.

To my knowledge (I beat the game twice) there is no Restore Magika spell. that would be a catch 22. Spend Magic to gain magic. And it couldn't be an enchantment untill you got the spell.
I kinda doubt its in there.
However...
If you give a ring "Fortify Magic" to a high level, you can spend out all your magic, cast the ring, you'll gain that level of magic back (its really just increased your total with the difrence as new magic) and then cast all that magic. Unequip the ring, then equip it again (cast it on you again) and it should go back up again.
I don't know if that will work like you like it, but its just a theory, worth a try.
I normaly just put all the spells I use into my armor. That way I always have what I want, where I need it.

ahhhhhh, I figure a spell like that didn't exist, I saw the restore magica effect on one of em magic scrolls (can't remember which one) and assummed there would be a regular spell that does the same. But that's right, I didn't even think about enchanting an item with a spell that I wanna use. It'd prolly be more useful since my character is a redguard with a mighty 50 mp points. Thanks and I'll definately try out the fortify magic tech. Good stuff, no more runnin around from place to place lookin for that stupid spell.

Okay, I've got a couple of questions.
#1 - What game is this? http://www.gamestop.com/product.asp?...ct%5Fid=280378
#2 - I heard about a "Robe of St. Roris" which is pretty much God-mode, but I also heard that they took it out of the Xbox version, and it's only in the PC version. Can anyone confirm or deny that? Thanks in advance!

Hmmmmm, I dunno what that game is.....interesting though, maybe an add on?
The Robe of St Roris does exist in the Xbox version but they made it totally useless. On the PC it has a constant effect restore 15 hp and 15 magica, but on the xbox its an enchanted item with like 100 charges or so. You can use it like three times before the charges run out. Took me forever to find this stupid robe only to find out its useless.

Ugh, that sucks! I really wanted to make another character, get him the robe, and just play with that guy whenever I didn't feel like actually fighting anyone!
BTW, in the PC version, one of the patches makes it a "cast once" item or something like that, so it's not all that useful in the PC version anymore either.

That game is prolly just a Morrowind-style game that the PS2 can handle that Bethesda is hoping to cash in on the fame of Morrowind on another platform with. (Notice it says PS2, so it can't be any sort of add-on) If it's any good I'll likely pick it up, unlike Xbox Morrowind since I already have the PC version.

oh, hahaha, shoulda read the ad more carefully, though it would be cool if it is a morrowind type game on the ps2. Hopefully it'll be entirely different from the morrowind that's out.

They also had a game on the PC called Elder Scroll Adventures: The Redguard which was sort of like a side-story off of the main three titles (well, two at the time). I doubt that this one on the PS2 is a port of this, or they woulda kept the Redguard part, but this could be one of those side-story type titles as well. I'm interested to see what it is though.

I was just bumping this thread for Morrowind info/questions since I just bought it at CompUSA for 11 bucks.
I have never played an RPG before (was never a computer gamer) & for the money, thought I would try this.
I must say that I am quite impressed so far. This game is unbelievably deep. Almost too deep for a newbie like me. Even reading your posts makes me dizzy and causes my head to hurt.
I don't really understand how to enchant things yet & I have been getting killed pretty easily as well so far. But after 3 hours of playing it, I must say that I think I could be slowly playing this game for years.
I am gonna stick to the towns like some of you have suggested & slowly build myself up. Some of the info can get a little overwhelming though from all the people you talk to. They are so detailed that I find many things just run together (thank god for the journal for the important stuff)! On my first mission I also made the mistake of not only killing some rats for a person but I also killed the lady. (I accidently took a swing at her, she put up her dukes & challenged me, and well...you know the rest). Got back to the boss & did not get anything for killing the rats since I took the old lady out. I think I am going to start over since I have read a lot of these posts (even though so many of them confuse me more).
Any new tips any of you experienced players have, continue to toss them out. Thanks! I am really impressed with this game so far. I am amazed I had not heard more about it.

By the way, I would love to hear your take on the game now Thunderball since you went from hating it to loving it. How have you done on it in the past month?

I've got a love/hate thing with this game. I love the game itself, but the X-Box version is just too damn buggy. After your save files get up in the 180+ block range, the game starts to crash out on you every so often, or your system locks up. Those, combined with the long save/load times, made the game almost unplayable for me.
The PC version is a different matter. With the editor, I almost completely transported my X-Box character (name/stats/items). The game has been patched twice now, it isn't buggy (not a single lockup for me so far), and the save/loads are almost instantaneous.
