Are they planning on doing any more of these "action up to this point" type episodes? There wasn't much added to tonights show at all.
I did enjoy the Keith, Kel, Mad Dog canoe ride though. I believe that was never before seen footage. Poor Kel was done wrong.

No, this episode was to push the finale of Survivor into the May Sweeps month so that CBS can rack up the ratings. Plus, it's a decent half-way point to bring new viewers into the fold.

That canoe ride just added to my confusion ; Mad Dog Marilyn seemed to be a staunch supporter of Kel on the canoe. Then what caused her to say what she said at tribal council....."If you were starving, we would give you some food.... blah blah..." Why the 180?

Either she didn't want to make herself a target or she was just a ruthless backstabber. The same logic probably applies to Tina's vote for Maddog later on. I tend to agree with you that she didn't want to alienate herself from the others.

Survivor over on WC so no more spoilers needed. I don't understand the strategy behind voting Jerri off this early, it makes no sense. I couldn't hear the end when Colby and Keither were discussing votes in the tent (someone here was blabbering and missed it). They were disagreeing with who to vote off next... which one wanted Jerri off? Colby had the game won if he kept Jerri on and got rid of the rest of the other tribe. As someone else posted, now there is no longer a certainty of who is going to ally with who anymore which weakens everyone but the Kuchas (or are those 3 ogakor, always get them mixed up).
