Hope they can fix this. Don't want to see a good thread closed.

Anyone know what would have happened if Kucha had voted against Jerri? It would have been a tie since Jerri also had two previous votes against her. Maybe a tie break question?
I liked that little smirk Colby made at the end when Jeff got the boot.

I really feel it's over for Kucha. They can be picked off one by one for the next four weeks with CBS showing us edited clips of the alliance possibly breaking like they did in S1 just to have another Kucha member voted off at the end. It's a shame because I liked the members of Kucha better than the backstabbers in Ogakor Oh well

I always find this rationale very perplexing. It is the backstabbers that make the show more enjoyable to watch. I don't want to see the shiny happy people of Kucha all getting along. The whole "win one for the Gipper" deal after Michael burned himself almost made me sick. I want to see Jerri and Keith get in each other's faces. The abrasiveness of Rich, Rudy, and Sue is what made the first one great. It is like Real World - which was the best one? The one with Puck of course - everybody hated Puck but that is what made the show more entertaining to watch.
I was also reading an article about Big Brother (which I never watched) when it was on. It said that in the European versions (where it is a top-rated show), the viewers would tend to vote out the nice people because they wanted to see more friction in the house. It contrasted with the American version because here, the viewers tended to vote out the troublemakers and keep the nice people, which of course meant fewer conflicts. The article suggested that this was probably one of the reasons why Big Brother was not successful in the US.

There is only one reason for an Ogakor to jump ship and join up with the Kucha alliance, and that would be if he thinks that, once it's down to just Ogakors, they'll be the first voted off.
Example... Jerri. She knows she and Keith don't get along, she probably sees that Keith and Tina are fairly tight-knit and vote together, and she may know that Colby doesn't care THAT much about her. So once it's down to the five Ogakors, she could be the first one to go... foreseeing this and thinking that she could maybe survive as a relative unknown with the Kuchas (instead of being known as the Wicked Witch of the Ogakors), she jumps ship and helps Kucha vote Ogakor out, and then fends for her own with Kucha.
Side note... will anyone else be sad if Elizabeth is voted off the show? GEEZ, she's cute! I was sad to see her shivering during that last immunity challenge.

For some reason I got pissed today when I read that Elisabeth goes out with the former quarter back for BC (like if I had a chance or something.... Also I watched Jeff on the Early Show and he had his coloring book that he brought w/him as a luxury item(he also brought crayons). It has pictures drawn by all of the survivors except the ones voted off ogakor before the merger. He will be auctioning it off to raise money for a burned children cause. He didnt show all of the book because he said quote "its a lethal shotgun" because he left the book even after he left so it could be filled up. He also mentioned that they didnt wanna vote for jerri because they never noticed any friction w/her and ogakor, he said they voted for Colby because they had to get rid of someone strong for the challenges. He went on to say that if Micheal hadnt been hurt that Colby would have been voted off this week, meaning that he thought they would go into the merger 6 to 4 and start voting the Ogakors off. Interesting stuff, all fans should watch the early show the next morning after some1s voted off.
He watches the show w/Alicia every week and is still close w/Kimmi even though her big mouth caused him to be voted off(she told Tina Who Debb voted for in the 1st episode).
By The Way SURVIVOR RULES!!!!, next 2 weeks itll be on wednesday because of NCAA tournament and and the second of these 2 shows will be of best of the first 8 episodes.

I hope they change up the rules a little for Survivor 3. If it all goes as it looks it will, the next 4 weeks will have little suspense. All that remins to be seen is the order of expulsion and maybe if the last Kucha can win an immunity challenge or 2. Maybe if they had rotating tribe members or something the alliances wouldn't be as obvious.

The show is still interesting because of the
One or both of those two will betray the Ogakor alliance because I suspect that
would pick both of them off if they were the last five remaining. This is how I see it. Kucha will be desperate to change up the alliances as they are now. If the alliances remain then it would be boring, but the alliances cannot remain because everyone knows how the game is played so if a member of an alliance feels vulnerable then obvioulsy that member will seek a new alliance. This is when the game becomes real interesting IMO.

You can watch most of those cbs morning show interviews on
the survivor website on cbs.com in real video format. Not too bad if you have broadband. I really enjoyed watching
jeff's full final statement. It's a shame jeff left, I really hated him at first, because he really was acting like a dumb kid, but he was one of the funny guys.
Anyhow,
Neitzl
