Gave this a shot after seeing some discussion on tumblr and holy cow. This is absolutely an anime take on the mythos, but the showrunners clearly said "f*ck it, we'll do it live!" and totally leaned into the concept. Very glad to see more episodes coming, wish the physical release of the first season was on Blu and not just DVD.

I was referencing the old Bill O'Reilly bit where he got frustrated and yelled that line. I was using it as a sort of demented battle cry. I suppose "Leeerroooyyy Jenkins!" would have made more sense.
