I just don't understand the point of this show. It has done such a disservice to the Boba Fett character, making him much less interesting and minimizing his importance in the Star Wars universe. They should have just saved all this good stuff for the next season of The Mandalorian and skipped this series altogether.

I really, really, really enjoyed this. AND, I kept wanting to get back to Boba Fett, back to Boba Fett, back to Boba Fett.

It looks like all roads lead to Boba Fett for the fibale, however. We're caught up in flashbacks, and the people who are going to be there amd going to be there. I'll be glad to see where it all ends up.

Grogu will end up with the darksaber.

He will be the first Mandalorian Jedi in 1,000 years. Tarre Vizsla was of two worlds and so is Grogu. It's a short sword, similar to Yoda's lightsaber, made of both beskar and kyber crystal. In Grogu's hands both the lineage of the Jedi and the Mandolorians will rise again for generations.

That's where all of this is leading.

Holy shit the scenes with Luke were amazing. We’ve gotten to the point where actors only have to make one appearance now in their whole careers and the rest can be deep-fakes. Soon an actor can be all CG and we wouldn’t even know the difference. Wild.

Woooooooow! Was not expecting so much packed into one episode. Also think it's a bit weird that 90% of the last two episodes have nothing to do with Boba Fett, but damn they've been good. Loved seeing Cobb Vanth again, hope he's not dead. I noticed they were putting a cloth on his chest afterwards, I hope that's a clue that he was still alive.

CAD BANE! So cool. Was that the same voice actor as the animated series? They didn't list him in the credits. I was also trying to remember if he interacted with kid Boba on Clone Wars. Could be an interesting reunion.

And seeing Ashoka again was awesome too. Never thought I would see her and Luke together. They're obviously setting up Grogu to return to the Mandalorian. I keep wondering why Luke makes him continue to wear a potato sack for clothing. Wouldn't it be easier to run and jump in something else? And it's a bit weird that he can run and do flips now, but can't talk. I feel like they missed the mark on that a little, but still enjoyed everything.

While the deepfake stuff in this was miles better than the last episode of Mandalorian (and Tarkin and Leia)... it's still not quite there yet. There were several shots that fell squarely in the uncanny valley. Mostly it's the eyes. Windows to the soul and whatnot.
