I guess SNL doesn't live up to same comedy standards a 2 Broke Girls.

Elon Musk was not a popular host
https://www.nbcnews.com/tech/tech-ne...how-rcna179703
"Saturday Night Live” cast member Chloe Fineman appeared to solve a mystery Monday about which recent “SNL” host made someone cry: She said that the host was tech billionaire Elon Musk and that she was the one in tears.
In August, fellow cast member Bowen Yang said on a podcast that a male “SNL” host made multiple cast members cry because the host hated their ideas for sketches. Yang didn’t name the host, setting off rounds of speculation about who it was.
“I’m gonna come out and say, at long last, that I’m the cast member that he made cry and he’s the host that made someone cry,” she said in the video.
Musk, the CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, hosted the show in May 2021, delivering the opening monologue and appearing in several sketches. He dressed as a cowboy and the videogame character “Wario.”
“I stayed up all night writing the sketch,” she said in the TikTok video. “I was so excited.”
But, she said, Musk wasn’t amused.
“You stared at me like you were firing me from Tesla,” she said, doing an impression of the billionaire saying, “It’s not funny.”
“Then you started pawing through my script flipping each page being like, ‘I didn’t laugh,’” she said.
Fineman didn’t say which sketch it was, but she said it made it onto the show and turned out well.
“I actually had a really good time, and I thought you were really funny in it,” she said, addressing Musk directly in the video.

Is it just me or is Ashley Padilla like really really good no matter the role? She hasn't had any breakout characters yet but she pops whenever she's on screen. I actually had to look up her name just now, but I think if she finds a few signature characters she has legit star potential.

She has a lot of potential, and I don't just mean on SNL. I think if given the chance, she can do well on other shows and movies. She has comedic acting chops, and it wouldn't surprise me if she can do dramatic roles too. For the time being, I hope she's given more material on SNL.

I like Jane Wickline. Seems like all three of them are getting an ample opportunity to perform in sketches.

Ashley Padilla and Bowen Yang breaking after Yang put out his cigarette on Padilla was probably the highlight of the episode for me last week but it was a very weak episode.

Dane Cook told Carvey and Spade on the Fly on the Wall podcast that he auditioned for SNL around 1995 and maybe could fill the void of Sandler but he had a panic attack and left the audition.

What the actual fuuu.... That looks somewhat crazy even as a concept. Very original, but super weird... Is she off the show? I'm surprised this is not a late-night show for Loren.

It’s actually been up on hbo for maybe a few weeks.
We watched all 8 shows last week and it is a hoot.
Sarah is a very interesting character.
Sarah also made a 2 episode appearance on General Hospital this summer.

That show is probably the most in-his-wheelhouse television program ever created for my son. We'll have to watch that together when he gets into town tonight.
