That Ming-Na shot! Going into the Ep I was thinking we'd at least get someone strumming a guitar.
A fun episode, and looks like we're getting the gang together for the final two. Fett carrying some xtra lbs, but still looking great. RR did a great job making him look badass with the gaffi stick.
Negative - I was pretty underwhelmed by Tython. I was expecting some LOTR style statues/ruins, etc, sweeping landscapes....and we got a common SoCal filming location. I appreciate the location shooting, but in this case... give me some CG backgrounds, and an otherworldly feel.(like Ep5)
Apparently this location shoot was photographed by onlookers when they filmed it last year, everyone wrote it off as a fan film, lol! I vaguely remember this, but I haven't searched for it yet.

If you'd have told me when I was a kid that I'd be watching the best Star Wars anything as a TV show I would have said your crazy. I can't wait to see how this team handles the Cassian and Kenobi series (and likely an Ashoka one).

Holy crap this show is amazing.
Pretty sure we all knew Grogu would be take at some point. I thought that would be the cliffhanger for this season.

The Cassian and Kenobi shows are not from the same people as The Mandalorian.

I guess that gave us confirmation that the Dark Troopers we saw a few episodes back are indeed a droid trooper program separate from whatever they’re trying to do with Grogu’s blood. I’d been wondering if they were connected, possibly creating troopers that can tap into the Force, but that doesn’t seem to be the case. Next week should be epic with Din and Boba working together!
RIP Razor Crest. As much as I don’t want to see anything happen to Boba now that he’s back after all this time, it would be kinda cool to see Slave 1 become Mando’s new ship.

Seeing Slave 1 reminded me of what it was like playing with my Star Wars toys in my basement.
I love this fucking show.

I feel like the only person in the world who's not into this season. I loved season one, but specifically because it had zero ties to anything else and was essentially a fresh start. Now there's been three episodes of characters I straight up don't care about and do not want in the show. Get yer fan service outta my space western!*
*Bias disclosure: I really don't like Dave Filoni's approach to Star Wars whatsoever, and I feel like that's taking over the show.
I did love the season opener and the one two episodes ago, with the return of Cara Dune and Carl Weathers.

Awesome episode. So seems like Mando is teaming up with Boba and Fennec at least for the time being.
It was pretty damn cool to see Slave I and Boba Fett. Boba was badass. This show might finally make him more of a character to have investment in versus just a cool looking character.
As far as Grogu- I had a feeling that he would eventually get kidnapped by Gideon and the Empire. The question is for how long. Also I wonder if Ahsoka will come back to help Mando and company.
One of the best episodes of the series if you ask me.
To me Filoni is one of the only people who really gets Star Wars. He cares about it in a way that I don’t think many other people who have been involved with it do.
The fan service moments aren’t just fan service moments, but moments out of lore- both that he’s had a hand in, and just from various things Star Wars throughout the years. He’s exactly the guy I want to be helming Star Wars related projects for as long as possible.
