I forgot about this until now, but I really disliked the way Vanth had to bend over to fire the rocket from the jet pack. I thought it looked silly and decidedly un-badass. I'm also put off by a lot of the winks and easter eggs in the show. Low hanging fruit. But this one is such an obscure little detail that I can't help but appreciate it.

Pretty sure Jango did the same in Attack of the Clones when he was fighting Obi Wan, I'd have to rewatch to be sure.

I don't mind the easter eggs because they feel organic.

Just rewatched that scene on YouTube. Jango is clinging to a pillar, nearly upside down, when he fires the rocket. He lowers his head but there’s not really any bend at the waist.

They have to do something, otherwise the missile would fly straight up in the air uselessly unless it's guided or something.

The article linked above explains that the bending at the waist is a nod to the toy, just like the rocket to the eye.

I’m watching a couple episodes at a time this season. I re-watched season 1 that way and felt it played A LOT better with multiple episodes in a row.

I thought this episode was great. I honestly had never heard of a Krayt Dragon until the re-re-releases of the OT came out and they changed the sound effect of Obi-Wan mimicking a krayt dragon scream to scare the Tuskan Raiders in A New Hope.

It was cool seeing the Boba Fett armor make an appearance and from reading how Boba escaped the sarlacc pit, the story matched up pretty well. I’m not sure how I’d feel about Morrison showing up at the end. I get that the prequels are canon but it’s still tough to swallow seeing aspects of those shit shows incorporated into new series’.
