Again, those toys should have already been in development. By all means, take the time necessary but millions of toys over the years have been released at the same time as the movie (even ones to avoid spoilers). I assume their development started at a time where the toy could be released in a timely manner.
But yeah, wait until the show has revealed a character that people want and only then begin to develop the toy so it can be released 6+ months later. That’s totally normal.

Possibly. I know a lot of people that have yet to see one episode of the show but already know about Boda because of social media, etc.

I don't know... plenty of toy mock ups leak and ruin stuff. It happens all the time. They probably didn't want anything out there at all.

A lot of fun. This episode struck me that this series so far really plays out like a video game.
Level #1 - Pick up your blue gill bounty, get paid, get upgrades.
Level #2 - Pick up your yoda baby bounty, get paid, get upgrades.
Level #3 - Go back for the yoda baby bounty, get XP.
I don't know that it's necessarily a bad thing. But the episodes play out in a way that they could do a video game version of this and it could be almost shot-for-shot the exact same as the show. Even has a playable tutorial on how to ride a blurrg before the big Jawa sandcrawler level. Again, I'm not complaining, but the comparison is way too big for me to ignore.
Good catch on the ice cream ma-- er, uh, safe from Cloud City.
And now the chase is on. I like that!
