But yeah, wait until the show has revealed a character that people want and only then begin to develop the toy so it can be released 6+ months later. That’s totally normal.
I would guess a leak for a Star Wars toy is a bigger deal over say, a leak for a Jurassic Park one.

Still stupid for them to miss the Holiday season over a popular meme, but whatever. I bet most people have never even seen the show

Possibly. I know a lot of people that have yet to see one episode of the show but already know about Boda because of social media, etc.

A member of this forum posted on Facebook today about how they're tired of Boda without seeing the show.

This is from an interview released today:

If I had to guess, it was already spoiled for most anyway. I watched the first episode the morning of release but baby Yoda was all over Twitter before I had.

That's different before an episode even being released.

For anyone into super-geeky technical stuff, colorist Alexis Van Hurkmand delved into why the "fake HDR" claims are nonsense.

I don't know that it's necessarily a bad thing. But the episodes play out in a way that they could do a video game version of this and it could be almost shot-for-shot the exact same as the show. Even has a playable tutorial on how to ride a blurrg before the big Jawa sandcrawler level. Again, I'm not complaining, but the comparison is way too big for me to ignore.

Good catch on the ice cream ma-- er, uh, safe from Cloud City.

And now the chase is on. I like that!
After criticizing TROS for that, I noticed a video game-like vibe here too. I don't know if it was when he got upgrades. No, I think it was when he had to go on the Mission to get the Egg, in exchange for his ship's parts back. I expect a story NOT to feel like a video game. Or maybe video games are becoming too much like movies.
