Do you know how hard it is to find Kryptonite blades in the pharmacy?

That was...odd, or am I the only one who thought the trailer was a bit off-kilter?

I think the way they did the background shots of faces mixed in with the weird backgrounds made it look a bit corny. You can tell it’s something on tv versus a film. Have to see how it turns out.

1st trailer
2 hour premiere. 90 minute episode and 30 minute behind the scenes special.
The Flash gets pushed back a week to the 1st week of March.
And this is from the former showrunner of The Flash
I do have a question about the timeline. In Crisis, Lois and Clark had no kids and she announced in the last episode to Clark to his surprise about their twins. Now, this one they have teen sons. I know continuity, schmontinuity. But, at least 15 years would have had to passed since Crisis if that were the case for this series.

Looks great, but its a high budget pilot. Episode 3 and on will look like typical CW shit level of quality. See Supergirl S1 (CBS) and S2 (CW)

Melissa Benoist has already said she's done with the Supergirl character after her show's last season, so don't expect Supergirl to have much of a presence on Superman. It will be interesting how they address that on Superman. Expect Supergirl to be off world or rarely mentioned.

Did they use the music from Man of Steel? It sounded very familiar.

I am certain that the demographic for The CW is majority female, so including Lois in the title just sends the message that this is a show where an empowering female character will have a very prominent role. I doubt the show will be a series of stories where Lois gets into trouble and Supe has to keep saving her.

The production quality equals Stargirl. It will be sad when it reverts to the mean.

I do expect a lot of teen drama with the two sons. It will be interesting to see how they handle a potential Superboy. I suspect in that regard it will be handled a lot like Smallville - no costume or even a codename.

WHY YOU DO THIS TO ME THE CW?
Thought I was finally out of The CW "DC Universe"... but that trailer made me want to give this one a shot.
