Yeah, it's so disappointing that they haven't yet (but hopefully eventually will) move on Legacy. I mean, I hate to say this, but the TNG cast isn't getting any younger, and I'd like to have them put in a few guest appearances... (And they've already set up Q as a recurring guest as well.)

Archer's best episode, IMO. Infinitely re-watchable.

Looks good... I either forgot or didn't know Aubrey Plaza is in it. Woohoo!

Re: Marvel Cinematic Universe shows on Disney+ Discussion Thread - news, rumors, etc.

My wife and I watched Loki Season 2 and Echo over the last week so we are now caught up on the MCU shows (Disney+). Here's my ranking:
1. Ms. Marvel
2. Hawkeye
3. WandaVision
4. Echo
5. She-Hulk: Attorney at Law
6. Loki
7. The Falcon and the Winter Soldier
8. Moon Knight
9. Secret Invasion (As a big fan of the comic miniseries this one was a massive disappointment and the only one of the shows that I disliked)

What If... (I watched like 2/3 of season 1 and was completely uninterested in it. Didn't hate it just no interest in continuing)

I’ve basically tapped out on Marvel TV but here are my rankings. It’s definitely been diminishing returns.

1.) Loki
2.) What If?
3.) She-Hulk
4.) Hawkeye
5.) Falcon and Winter Soldier
6.) Wandavision
7.) Moon Knight
8.) Ms. Marvel
9.) Secret Invasion (watched half and tapped out)

I watched one episode of Echo and might finish it one day.

I'll play. My rankings in order and stars are out of 5:

1.) Hawkeye (***1/2)
2.) Echo (***1/2)
3.) Falcon & Winter Soldier (***1/2)
4.) She-Hulk: Attorney at Law (***)
5.) WandaVision (***)
6.) What If? (**1/2 overall. 1st season ***1/2 and 2nd season *1/2)
7.) Loki (**1/2 - both seasons)
8.) Secret Invasion (**)
9.) Moon Knight (**)
10.) Ms. Marvel (*1/2)

Re: Marvel Cinematic Universe shows on Disney+ Discussion Thread - news, rumors, etc.

I guess my rankings would be:

1. Hawkeye - It's fun and the cast is great; Steinfeld has good chemistry with both Renner and Pugh
2. WandaVision - great story, split between those inside and out of the spell
3. Loki - love the retro aesthetic; season 1 is better than S2
4. She-Hulk: Attorney at Law - very fun and I think deserved a better reception
5. Ms. Marvel - cool, fun, family-oriented show
6. What If? - I like seeing the alternate universe stuff without worrying about what's canon.
7. The Falcon and the Winter Soldier - not bad but should have been better

8. Moon Knight - I wanted to see more, ya know, Moon Knight
9. Echo - just bored me
10. Secret Invasion - the Skrull stuff works okay in Captain Marvel, but falls really flat in this

Overall, I preferred the Netflix Marvel shows, especially Daredevil and Punisher. And the Agent Carter series on ABC was good, too.

Hawkeye and Loki (especially S2) were the only shows I fully enjoyed. A few of the others had redeeming parts.

Totally agree with this in regard to my top 3. And the first season of Jessica Jones had probably the greatest Big Bad ever of any of these kinds of shows. It is a shame the quality waned after it. I think he was too good.

1. Daredevil (****1/2)
2. The Punisher (****)
3. Jessica Jones (***1/2)
4., 5. & 6. Luke Cage, The Defenders and Iron Fist (all tie at *** each)

I have yet to see Echo or Secret Invasion.

1. Hawkeye
2. Moon Knight
4. WandaVision & Ms. Marvel
6. Loki Season 1 & She Hulk
7. What If...?
8. Falcon & Winter Soldier
9. Loki Season 2

I thoroughly disliked the character of Hawkeye for years. Not a fan of Renner, and he really has no business being an Avenger (as he lampshades repeatedly - a fact I only really picked up on after rewatches), ditto Black Widow. However, the show made me care about him and was just all-around well done.
Moon Knight was mildly disappointing in passing out during the interesting parts, but was both so daringly different - supernatural, gods, cults, mental disorder - and so extremely well-acted that it jumped straight into #2, despite all my top six being hairs-breadths away from each other.
WandaVision was utterly delightful in its parody-pastiche of a range of sitcoms, while the central idea was strong and brutal. But it's handicapped in retrospect for some baffling missteps - Quicksilver, the confusing aspect of Agatha being behind things somehow and some plot threads. However, Kat Dennings was in it, too.
Ms. Marvel was just fun and believable. And unashamedly 'foreign' and world-expanding.
She Hulk was great, but uneven. Loki was resolutely excellent, but felt small and sometimes had things happen for plot reasons rather than organic ones. Still great.

What If...? varied from pretty good to pointless. Falcon seemed to tell a film's worth of story over the course of several hours - and Sharon Carter's arc was either poorly told or terrible.
Loki Season 2 was... disappointing. COVID hamstrung them, but for me it was a series of empty corridors, over-acting and plotless pointlessness.

Never really liked the Netflix Marvel shows. If I wanted to watch a courtroom drama I'd watch LA Law. Not Daredevil.

Oh, I watched Daredevil. And no - it was not enjoyable, at least for me. Dragged out way too much. Jessica Jones was better but even that was a slog.

I was about to shrug at that bit of news, since Marvel shows are so hit-and-miss, until I saw the name Terry Matalas.
