The ‘AGATHA’ series has been retitled again to ‘AGATHA: THE LYING WITCH WITH GREAT WARDROBE’
Doesn't exactly fill me with confidence that Disney, Feige, and Marvel have finally gotten their shit together...

Nothing brings streaming eyeballs quite as effectively as puns!

That's the worst title I've ever seen.

Wait, what's the name of this show again?

It was Agatha All Along!

Re: Marvel Cinematic Universe shows on Disney+ Discussion Thread - news, rumors, etc.

Meanwhile, audiences can expect Daredevil: Born Again in March 2025. Ironheart is also coming in 2025, though the studio didn’t say when, exactly, to expect that series.

There must be some real issues with Ironheart... that starting shooting two years ago.. had additional filming... and will be around three years by the time it comes out. Geez.

The rumor going around the internet today is Hawkeye has been renewed and it will
Spoiler:
involve Clint's brother and the season will be inspired by The Raid, with Kate and Clint stuck in one location.

Sounds cool if true. And a way to cut down on costs.

I wasn't really stoked for this one anyway, but it sounds like it may be a bit of a mess with all of this happening. I'll be in no hurry to see it.

I'm sure the multiple Agatha titles are on purpose.

I was thinking the same thing, there's no way that some of the titles were in serious consideration.

I think the real title pretty much implies that.

Looks like the Netflix shows need to be added to the main list. I read that they were all considered canon now.
Agree with everything here. I thought She-Hulk was entertaining pretty much throughout. As opposed to Moon Knight which was boring as FUCK and only had the title character actually in the show for like 5 minutes.

Pulled from the same series that semi-inspired S1. I like this.

None of the Marvel shows have been bad (to me), but F&WS was my least favorite. I could see why She-Hulk could easily be the most expensive, though, and if you couple that with a lot of the venom and casual dislike/disappointment, it easily adds up to a losing proposition. Hopefully there's more, though.

I'm ok with not having another She-Hulk tv show as long as she still appears in the movies.

She-hulk was expensive because of all the reshoots, right? I wonder how much cheaper most of these would've been if they didn't change direction so often, especially late into production?

Also it doesn't sound like Maslany has been tapped for any movies but I hope I'm wrong.

Agatha is looking like the first Marvel series I may skip altogether.

I need to jump on X-Men '97 with all the great reviews. I was too old for the original series when it came out but saw it as an adult several years ago and really enjoyed how stayed close to the actual source material.

Why do you think you were too old?

I was in my thirties and watched all of it including the Spider-man series

I'm with Spiderbite on that, at that point in my life I just wasn't watching any superhero cartoons. But I've been meaning to check this out as well.

I probably could have worded that better.

I didn't feel I was necessarily too old for it to enjoy it but from 1992 to 1997 when it ran, I was in college but also graduated college in 1995. Then I was working on getting a career.

Trying to find time to watch a cartoon on Saturday morning or a weekday afternoon was the furthest thing from my mind. That was the time of "appointment television" and I barely paid attention to Prime Time TV during that period.

Marvel orders a Vision Disney+ series for 2026. Hires Star Trek Picard head writer Terry Matalas as showrunner

Matalas is a great hire.

Took a while to get "Vision Quest" off the ground. First reported on back in 2022.

I wonder if that means Matalas is done with ST.

He was probably the best thing about that lately.

Paramount's loss is Marvel's gain. They didn't want to pay for a Star Trek Legacy or give him another job and now they're going through a sale. So he couldn't wait around any longer. I don't blame him.
