I did listen to Routh. Also gave both Zach Levi episodes a go as well as Stephen Amell. Between those four, they're pretty heavy in regards to discussion. Lots of rough childhoods, broken homes, and therapy sessions. I need to get to Tom Welling next.

My favorite thus far was the first I listened to. Dominic Monaghan and Billy Boyd. It was just lighthearted entertainment. Lots of LOTR stories and they're best friends and it comes across in the interview. Just all around fun.

I am enjoying The Vow on HBO. Made by a documentarian who was heavily involved with NXIVM and a close friend of Keith. He recorded all his calls so you get a lot of information as it happened as opposed to just talking heads recalling events

I get that her testimony helped convict others but wasn't she really really high up there? Three years seems like nothing.

Typical celeb sentence, but maybe she can actually be rehabilitated/de-programmed in that time.

Considering her large role in these crimes - AM's sentence of three years is a slap on the fucking wrist, and she may not even serve the entire three years. Unfortunately, I'm not at all surprised.

Yeah that an absurdly light sentence given her culpability in these heinous crimes. I hate this outcome almost as much as I hate myself for still being attracted to her.

Yeah, it's really weird. She was so "girl next door" cute that it's hard to wrap your head around her being a ringleader in a rapey sex cult that branded people. She looked like that girl you wanted to date when you were in high school, but she was sweet and nice she was intimidating.

Agreed, they'd throw the book at her (him?). That said, this is federal prison, which on average means you serve 85% of the sentence according to Google, so that's about 2 1/2 years. They usually give credit for "time served" so I don't know if she has been incarcerated this whole time or not.

Didn't she plead guilty and testify against others? Surely she got some sort of deal.

I believe AM has been out on bond prior to this sentencing, so I don't think she's done any time beforehand. But, I haven't been following the case as closely as some.

I think that's right. It seems she "rolled over" on others so she could get a deal & a lighter sentence.

I know in terms of prison sentences "three years seems like nothing," but consider this...we just went through a pandemic where most things were shut down for a little over a year. Now imagine if that had gone on for three years. Three years is a long time to be in prison if you're actually doing the time.

Of course I wouldn't want to be in prison for even a month, and this being a federal sentence, meaning that it's not going to be commuted to 3 months or something, is good. But she was really really high up in the cult and they did a lot of damage for many many years, so three years does seem light to me. Again, I understand she helped the prosecution and all of that.

Don't feel bad, I still want to smash that Casey chick who killed her daughter in FL and the Arias chick who stabbed her BF in AZ.
