Yep. She could probably get $10 or 20 for a signature. Some of these conventions really scrape the bottom of the barrel for "celebrity" talent.

They would 100% do it for free, if they could sell tickets to watch.Originally Posted by GoldenJCJ

I listen to Michael Rosenbaum's pod and was a bit surprised he had her on this week. I know she did another pod earlier in the week. I don't know if she's working on rehabbing her image or doing public therapy or both. She said all the right things but she also was never a bad actress. She made it seem this was the last podcast she would be doing.

Mack recently got married to a "reformed" Neo-Nazi, no joke. She appears to be moving towards an attempt to rehab her image looking for a new career. Smallville's cast makes a lot of money at convention appearances, I imagine she wants some of that easy cash.
I always chuckle at the thread title I came up with when reading this in the forum.

I'm sure she could make a lot of money working hotels near the conventions.

She talked about him for a bit. Years after he renounced his past he did a DNA test and found out he was Jewish.Originally Posted by PhantomStranger

As for she and conventions I can't see any mid tier or higher bringing her in anytime some. I don't know if those things have a shadow circuit like Pete Rose going to Coopertown during the Hall of Fame inductions.

She was just on Michael Rosenbaum's podcast:

I'm a subscriber to Michael's podcast. I was shocked when I saw the notification/thumbnail. Anyway clicked on it quickly. Great interview, just wish it was another hour or more.

Hopefully that means she will be on the Talkville pod soon. Would be nice to hear her perspective on Smallville.

That would be a shock. That’s a pretty light podcast. I don’t think the playful tone and her would be received well. They only have three more seasons left and she was knee deep in the cult during that time. There is a growing chance that if they do season 8 Rosenbaum won’t be involved. He left after seven season. He even mentioned that Aaron Ashmore might cohost in this weeks episode.Originally Posted by jjcool

That's a shame. I'm well behind where they are live, so I'm in the thick of when Chloe was really involved in the show, and there are certain episodes where I think she would have had some interesting info to add to the discussion. Originally Posted by Kdogg

I think it would turn more people off to the show than it would attract/add to it, though.

Yeah. I can't see those Patreons that are keeping the show afloat taking too kindly to having her on the show. They are pretty protective of the show. Season 8-10 have much more Erica Durance in them and their relationship was professional but cold. Originally Posted by fujishig

You're talking the relationship between Erica and Allison was professional but cold? I had heard there was tension there, but more so in the later seasons when Allison was involved in the cult. Originally Posted by Kdogg

I mean Durance entered the show in what, season 4, and Mack was in the cult by around season 6 or so. Originally Posted by jjcool

Well Allison thought she would become Lois Lane and then Erica was brought in to be Lois Lane so she never welcomed her with open arms. She didn't sabotage her either but Erica thought it got more passive aggression in one on one situations as time went on. People don't have to like their coworkers and Erica thought Allison never liked her. Even when she tried to recruit her for the cult. If you made the Talkville community choose between the two it's going to be Erica six days a week and twice on Sundays.Originally Posted by jjcool

I think Erica Durance is the 2nd-most popular cast member after Tom Welling himself.
I'll say I was one of those fans who wouldn't have minded Chloe becoming the main love interest after Lana left. I suspect they didn't want to give her anymore leverage when negotiating her contract so they locked in a new actress on a cheap newcomer deal. That's often how these things go when shows have been on the air for years.

Was there really a theory that Chloe would rename herself as Lois Lane or something?

Yes. She used Lois as a non de plume in an early season (pre Erica). Because Erica wasn't a regular until later in the series it was speculated that she would be killed off and Chloe to take the name to honor her. Erica just worked out too well for that to happen. They moved Justin Hartley as Chloe's love interest after Jimmy died.Originally Posted by fujishig

I loved Smallville for what it was, but it was damn weird with characters sometimes.

^ Man I forgot about that. I never did check if it was Aaron or his brother that was in the finale as the real Jimmy.

First I've heard of the Lois thing.
I do remember the Jimmy Olson but not Jimmy Olson thing though and that was just stupid.

Chloe from the jump seemed like one of those characters in a harem anime that just had no shot no matter what. Yes she and the MC might get together briefly, but no way she was the end game. I'm trying to think how many people would've lost their minds if she turned out to be (the real) Lois Lane at the end.

I remember Chloe using the pseudonym and thinking she could go on as Lois in the future, but it wouldn't explain the lack of Lucy.
