There's a pic of her weighing not a whole lot toward the bottom, which makes sense because the cult leader keeps the members on a 500-600 calorie a day diet.

Cleaver, I do have to admit that the pic screams Cult to me. I think Allison Mack had built up some goodwill from her Smallville days and could have gone on to to star in an attempted rom/com or two, or maybe even those PG13 horror/comedy hybrid films that are micro budgeted but make tall $$ such as Happy Death Day. It is a bit sad she did not go that route...always liked her on Smallville (at least up until Season 6 when I walked away from the show).

It was likely leaked by the New York prosecutors investigating the cult. Chloe's cult operates out of upstate New York and supposedly has connections to a wealthy Mexican family. Catherine Oxenberg's daughter was in the cult and went to the police for help. Most will remember Oxenberg as one of the female leads on the original Dynasty.

A prosecutor leaks this stuff to the press because there are probably more victims out there that could testify against the cult. Publicizing Weinstein's behavior brought more victims forward.

My first thought when I read the headline was that someone was blowing the story of a kinky sex club all out of proportion. But no, that sounds like a creepy cult.

As an aside, putting people on a 500 calorie a day diet doesn't just make them thin. It's a well known brainwashing technique.
