You're basically repeating The Narcissist's Prayer:
That didn't happen.
And if it did, it wasn't that bad.
And if it was, that's not a big deal.
And if it is, that's not my fault.
And if it was, I didn't mean it.
And if I did, you deserved it.
Except instead of doing it for yourself, you're simping for a rich white man who doesn't know you exist.

Yeah, you're just shifting your arguments around without any logistical consistency, all to justify Joss Whedon going back to work, despite nobody wanting to work with him, and no real indication Joss even wants to be involved in this.

"I wasn't there" is only an excuse for not knowing, not for not believing.

Because he doesn't want to. It's clear he started with the conclusion that Joss shouldn't have been cancelled, and all his arguments have since been a ball of contradictory just justifications for the conclusion he started with.
First, he claimed there was only one accusation from one person. Then it was, sure, there were a lot of accusations and corroboration, but the movement had a dumb name, and people are being "oversensitive" if they didn't like his actions, because he did nothing illegal/criminal, so it's fine. Then it was okay, he did bad things, but nothing worth "eliminating" him for. Then, ok, he wasn't eliminated, but hasn't he been punished enough? Oh, and also, he has nothing to apologize for because he did nothing wrong.
Alongside this he also doubled-down on the obvious double-standard in gender to say that, no, actually it's totally fine that women have lost their careers for far less.
You're not arguing against a rational person. You're arguing against someone who likes to mock movements highlighting sexual discrimination and abuse in an industry. They don't care about people, only what they want, and since they personally want Joss Whedon back, then Joss should be able to come back, and he'll twist himself into knots to justify that position.

Yeah, I was trying to figure out the argument of the Whedon stories being fake but the Sean Young stories being believable.

I mean at first he says it’s just an incident and when people point out it was a lot he said he had heard the reports. That should tell you about all you need to know.

Anyway, back to the topic at hand: I see no reason to try and rekindle the magic they had with the original show. Just doesn’t seem like it can work. If they do, best of luck.

To me it sound like justification for oneself. If person Whedon hasn't done anything wrong or the wrong thing wasn't that terrible, I don't have to feel guilty about myself for wanting more Whedon content. Whedon rumors started after Age of Ultron and Disney parting ways with the man who made their most succesful movies hints enough.

Here's a recent Firefly reunion panel (also posted as an episode of Fillion and Tudyk's podcast "Once We Were Spacemen"), in which the cast discusses the possible animated series. Fillion seems to be the driving force, and he says he isn't interested in post-Serenity stories, so the show would likely be set between the series and the movie. Everyone sounded like they would be on board to voice their characters. Adam Baldwin was not present, but I imagine he'd be in, too.

Fillion did later confirm Shepard Book will also be included, and he'll need to be recast since Ron Glass is no longer with us:

We’re bringing back Shepherd Book for certain. Ron Glass, unfortunately, is not available. Ron once joked that he didn’t get a part when they were looking for a Ron Glass-type, and here we are again. We’re looking for a Ron Glass-type, and it’s not going to be Ron Glass.
