Oh, I thought was such a great smackdown! I just was blown away by how great the little girl acted. I kept thinking, this is how the books portray the ages of the young Starks. I think Rob was supposed to be around 14 or 15 when he took over Winterfell. So to see a young actor like her be so friggin' awesome in acting that part, I was blown away.

Olenna was just cold... every word was full of venom and Cersei had to stand there and take it, since she had no other choice. Both actresses were amazing.

I think Olenna's take-down of Cersei was one of the best moments of the entire series. She used such brutally calculated words, delivered precisely to a murderously arrogant shit of a "person" who desperately needed someone to speak a little truth to them. "I wonder if you're the worst person I've ever met." So cold. So deserved.

[I know that embedding has become cumbersome and I don't know the new way, so posting the link]
That may just be the best 2 minutes in the whole series.

And it's really an ironic scene to watch because we know that Olenna killed Cersei's son, even though Cersei doesn't.

Olenna actually is the person who Cersei pretends to be, or wants to be. Shes a beloved figure. Who is the de-facto ruler over a mighty house. Shes smart and calculating and if you cross her you will end up in a grave. Likely never knowing who actually put you there.

I was really hoping Olenna would make good on her threat of having a guard beat the shit out of that Faith Militant bitch watching over Margaery. Really fucking hate her.

Almost got an early Arya vibe, but Little Arya was just playacting, whereas Lyanna actually is carrying the weight of ruling.
Really smart acting & totally carried it off.

Ser Davos Seaworth charming the little queen with the verbal equivalent of pulling out a Werther's Original from behind her ear was pretty rad.

The reveal about the size of House Mormont's fighting force was great as well.
Obviously Littlefinger's going to help but I still don't understand what his end game is. If he marches this forces against the Boltons, that's open opposition to the crown, and I don't see a scenario where he gets to sit on the Iron Throne anyway. If he had planned on marrying Sansa and becoming head of the Stark house and maybe marching South, why give her over to Ramsey in the first place, it didn't seem like their alliance achieved anything for him.
