Not sure how she walks this one off either. She got multiple gut-stabbed by a trained assassin with a dagger long enough to come out her back.
Don't forget, despite all the shit that she's been through, she is still only 13 or whatever. She probably thought she had booked passage for the 'morning and would be gone before they knew to came after her.

Obviously, the Faceless Dude is going to have to save her through Faceless Dude magic, since there's no way she's walking that off. Maybe he saves her as a punishment for Waif, since he told her not to make Arya suffer, but she goes for the gut stab to be a bitch even when she has a clean jump on Arya.

After the last couple of go nowhere seasons with her arc, eh, I wouldn't be as up in arms as I would have a few years ago. She's so disconnected with the story at this point and seemingly won't get Zartan powers, so I'm unsure what she's really bringing at this point with the rest of the Starks stepping up.

If she married Loras, I assume she would have kept both sigils as well.
So Cersei's existing kids (well kid) are Baratheons and heirs to the throne, any kids she'd have with Loras's donated seed would have been heirs to Highgarden, so what happens to the Lannisters? I guess the Uncle is just left in charge like he is now?

I thought it was a fine episode - I was worried the entire episode would focus on the village people, but there was plenty of other stuff to keep me interested. It was nice seeing McShane (hell, it's always good),but his brief appearance served its purpose, namely getting the Hound back in the game.

This was my thought as well. When she was scanning the crowd, I thought for sure Crane was going to come to the rescue.

George Martin was on Conan O'Brien a few years ago and mentioned what his wife thought about Arya:

Spoiler:
He said she would divorce him if he killed her off in the books, so she's safe.

I was waiting for her to run into Theon sitting at a table trying to man up with his ale. It would be a reunion of sorts. Her training would be an asset to Khaleesi and in turn her coming to conquero Westeros would naturally include destroying everybody on Arya's list.

Now that I've rewatched the episode and the scenes with her and the Waif fighting I'm actually starting to get behind the Fight Club theory. It's probably not going to be the case but it's definitely plausible.

Is the right side of her face not able to curl up for smiling?

It's like she's stuck in permanent duckface.

Maybe she's settled on that as "her thing," like how Mckayla Maroney had to make the "not amused" face for the rest of her life.

Anyway, I really liked the episode and how it gave us looks at stuff we hadn't seen before, like Bear Island and Riverrun.

That's not duckface. It's a smirk. Duckface is when girls stick their lips out.

It's not an "extreme" duckface, but if it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck...and when its face looks like a duck...well, I call it a duck.

I figured Arya's sword would come into play when whatsherface comes after her. They don't know she has it. Can't remember, is it Valarian(?) steel?

No. Just a small sword her brother had made specifically for her.

Lyanna Mormont was the best thing in this episode. What a BA!
