Nothing from NBC. No schedule or cancellation announcements.

In case you're wondering what happened to that "Summer" show that has no date yet.

Many are probably not airing this summer.

Not really. A bunch of them either never filmed anything or production is incomplete due to the pandemic. .

Snowfall on FX is mentioned that they barely started filming and got shut down. Same goes with Queen of the South on USA,

Younger, which typically airs in the summer, hasn't shot a thing yet.

CW is desperate for content that they bought an English language Italian show starring Patrick Dempsey that will air this Fall.

Cops cancelled by the Paramount Network (how many of you actually knew it was still on?)

Sounds like it was somewhat influenced by the George Floyd situation.

I did. Got a CNN alert on phone and I’m sad. I used to watch and record every new episode on Mondays. Still watch the reruns. Only reality show I watched and loved. Sad day.

My idea was to keep filming it but only air situations where the accused are all white trash. Never show anyone of color being arrested.

Live PD cancelled by A&E. I don't watch it, but it's supposedly their highest rated show.

Looks like the cancellation was influenced by the ongoing racial and civil unrest right now.

Looks like? Most definitely was cancelled as a result of the current climate.

I will miss Perfect Harmony because I loved the cast and honestly thought we might get another full season before NBC pulled the plug.

Paw Patrol is now getting backlash for it's portrayal of the cartoon Police Dog. WTF???

As of right now, the show was taken off the air

Wouldn't surprise me to see Chief Wiggum get canceled.

If shows featuring cops or with prominent cop characters are now evil will NCIS and its spinoffs, FBI, the planned FBI spinoff, The Rookie, Manifest, and Magnum PI all get canceled?

(More generally).

Contractually, the three Chicago franchise shows and Law & Order SVU were each renewed for three seasons per show earlier this year. So if there are no easy "get out of jail free" clauses in these renewal contracts, then NBC will continue with these four Dick Wolf shows for at least the next three years.

Less certain for the CBS renewed shows, especially if there are no easy "get out of jail free" clauses in the contracts. At minimum these franchise shows which were renewed for the next season 20-21, will likely still be produced. After that, it is anyone's guess at this point.

The biggest problem with dumping too many of these procedural shows all at once, is finding suitable replacements for them.

Just FYI, the FBI spinoff (FBI: Most Wanted) started airing in January, and has been renewed for a second season.

All of this is baseless conjecture.

Procedurals will never go away. They are a part of network TV programming.

I guess I'd throw Blue Bloods in there too, it being the most cop-centric show of the bunch, with mostly white characters, even though I really like the show..
