Thanks. I only saw the first 2 episodes. No point in finishing the 1st season.
I like Katims. Too bad his last couple of network shows after Parenthood and FNL were bombs. |

I like Katims. Too bad his last couple of network shows after Parenthood and FNL were bombs. I've never understood why people would abandon a show they enjoy just because it is being canceled. If you enjoy it, keep enjoying it while you can. |
Re: The One and Only TV FAQ Thread Plus Renewal and Cancellation News
If I was 5 or maybe 6 in, then yeah I would finish the season. But, I'm only 2 in and I have so many other shows to catch up on, so I have to cut my losses on something like this.

All the remaining episodes of the now cancelled Quantico will air on Friday nights starting May 25th. |
Re: The One and Only TV FAQ Thread Plus Renewal and Cancellation News
I think that since the Quantico move doesn't happen until next week, it should still air on Thursday this week.
Edit: Sorry. Scratch that. Looks like ABC has already put "What Would You Do?" on Thursday nights for the next two weeks. |

I don’t know anyone that watches Star. I think they keep it to keep Lee Daniels happy since he created Empire and that brought FOX huge ratings and press it’s first couple of years and probably made them a lot of money.

The Last Ship's upcoming 5th season will be the last. No surprise there, especially since they shot seasons 4 and 5 back to back. That was a pretty clear sign they were wrapping it. |

Also, TNT looking to wrap up Good Behavior. Undecided whether it's going to be a movie or final season. It's in the planning stages. |
Re: The One and Only TV FAQ Thread Plus Renewal and Cancellation News
Three CW series will take their final bows during the 2018-19 TV season. As had been speculated, Jane the Virgin and Crazy Ex-Girlfriend will draw to a close following their respective fifth and fourth seasons, the network confirmed on Thursday. Additionally, iZombie‘s forthcoming fifth season will also be its last. |

The Roseanne reboot was cancelled today by ABC following racist tweets by Roseanne Barr.

Now they can slip that Mr. Belvedere revival into the Roseanne timeslot.

Superstition unofficially cancelled by SyFy: https://www.spoilertv.com/2018/06/su...d-by-syfy.html
One of the cast members basically said in a Tweet the show is dead. Not worth bumping the thread for something that no one watched here. I didn't even bother. Had no time for this. And this show from what I could tell had absolutely no press or buzz about it. |
Re: The One and Only TV FAQ Thread Plus Renewal and Cancellation News
Dean Devlin announced on Twitter that The Librarians is dead for good. No pickup anywhere else.

Lucifer and The Exorcist were axed as well.
https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/li...lation-1120632 Lucifer was one of multiple series to have the proverbial rug pulled out from beneath it amid Fox’s creative shift. Established shows and pilots continue to move beyond their initial homes as the peak TV era offers more choices where one outlet’s miss is another’s hit. It's also worth noting that Netflix didn't even have the SVOD rights to Lucifer — Hulu did — meaning that deal had to be reworked, similar to the way Amazon recently revived Syfy’s The Expanse after having to renegotiate SVOD rights as the first three seasons were sold to Netflix. |
Re: The One and Only TV FAQ Thread Plus Renewal and Cancellation News
Nobodies, the comedy series produced by Melissa McCarthy, was officially canceled this week after two seasons on different networks.
One of the better written comedies on tv these past couple of years, despite no audience or critical acclaim. |
Re: The One and Only TV FAQ Thread Plus Renewal and Cancellation News
AMC has renewed "Better Call Saul" and "Fear the Walking Dead" for their 5th seasons and McMafia for its 2nd season.
