I like Katims. Too bad his last couple of network shows after Parenthood and FNL were bombs.

I'm still watching Rise, but yeah, it was really heavy on the drama. It feels a little like Glee, but with no comedy or lightness at all. I think they can tell their story just fine in a one-and-done, though.

If you like Katims, like I do, there is a point to finishing the season. Whether the show continued or not, you will get to see the final production of the school play. So there will be some sense of completion. I enjoy the show immensely, and I don't believe we'll be left hanging. Sort of like the first season of Friday Night Lights, which was complete in itself. The additional seasons were just a bonus.

I've never understood why people would abandon a show they enjoy just because it is being canceled. If you enjoy it, keep enjoying it while you can.

If I was 5 or maybe 6 in, then yeah I would finish the season. But, I'm only 2 in and I have so many other shows to catch up on, so I have to cut my losses on something like this.

All the remaining episodes of the now cancelled Quantico will air on Friday nights starting May 25th.

I think that since the Quantico move doesn't happen until next week, it should still air on Thursday this week.

Edit: Sorry. Scratch that. Looks like ABC has already put "What Would You Do?" on Thursday nights for the next two weeks.

That is 100% correct. Fox is keeping Star around to keep him happy. These networks attach themselves to a couple of key showrunners/producers and bend over backwards for them.

The Last Ship's upcoming 5th season will be the last.

No surprise there, especially since they shot seasons 4 and 5 back to back. That was a pretty clear sign they were wrapping it.

Also, TNT looking to wrap up Good Behavior. Undecided whether it's going to be a movie or final season. It's in the planning stages.

Three CW series will take their final bows during the 2018-19 TV season. As had been speculated, Jane the Virgin and Crazy Ex-Girlfriend will draw to a close following their respective fifth and fourth seasons, the network confirmed on Thursday. Additionally, iZombie‘s forthcoming fifth season will also be its last.

This is sad news. It wasn't a bad show at all and had a good cast.

Superstition unofficially cancelled by SyFy: https://www.spoilertv.com/2018/06/su...d-by-syfy.html

One of the cast members basically said in a Tweet the show is dead.

Not worth bumping the thread for something that no one watched here. I didn't even bother. Had no time for this. And this show from what I could tell had absolutely no press or buzz about it.

Lucifer was one of multiple series to have the proverbial rug pulled out from beneath it amid Fox’s creative shift. Established shows and pilots continue to move beyond their initial homes as the peak TV era offers more choices where one outlet’s miss is another’s hit. It's also worth noting that Netflix didn't even have the SVOD rights to Lucifer — Hulu did — meaning that deal had to be reworked, similar to the way Amazon recently revived Syfy’s The Expanse after having to renegotiate SVOD rights as the first three seasons were sold to Netflix.

Nobodies, the comedy series produced by Melissa McCarthy, was officially canceled this week after two seasons on different networks.

One of the better written comedies on tv these past couple of years, despite no audience or critical acclaim.
