MTV actually pioneered the post-show format, using it years ago for their Real World shows after important episodes. Though their shows tend to be chatty affairs dominated by the cast, instead of fanboys.

Are you talking about the reunion specials? Because a lot of reality shows have those.

They did an end of season wrap-up show last year and I caught part of it... if this is anything like that I'd stay far far away. The audience of teenage girls basically screaming every time they cut to a 'cute' guy, and booing every time they talk to an actor who played a bad guy. Even as background noise I only made it through a few minutes before I had to turn it to anything else.

Quite possibly, since the first Real World reunion special was in 1995.

However, I guess I should have explained that I feel that a reunion special that airs after or near the end of a season that reunites most of the cast of a reality show to go over the season is a very different animal than Talking Dead, which airs after every episode and involves people not directly associated with the show talking/speculating about it.
